• A bouquet for when C married M last July •
Full of toffee tones, wiggle, jiggle and my heart and soul goes into each bouquet (and floral design!) 🤍
I seemed to have moved away from a traditional hand tie, my bouquets are now front facing.. they’ll always be a bit of a wiggle in my designs, lots of scent and lots of thought, research and love 🤍 goes into each and every design. Even if my concentration face looks a little like resting cow face.. I’m happy honestly!

We are being honoured to not only have been nominated for the Muddy Stilettos Awards 2024, but we the only Leicestershire florist in the finals!!!
So please vote for us! Florence & Hope Flower Studio is my third baby, it absorbs me. I often dream of the weddings we are creating, it’s often the last thought at night and my first thought in the morning (once awoken from my not often very restful sleep to cries of Muuuummmy!!!) So it would be amazing to win. We were third or fourth last year.. let’s make it first place this year!
Thank you in advance!
Much love, Kerry & Laura x
• Styled Shoot •
So yesterday Laura & I were surrounded by very incredibly talented ladies, beautiful models, Staplefords resident ginger tomcat, Crunchie and one gentleman.
We had the absolute pleasure of putting together this styled shoot @staplefordpark
We chose ivory, pink and blue, with glass and gold accents.
We have a gazillion images to share of behind the scenes, not to mention the stunning photography that Joanna & Ludwig from @thatweddings will have captured!
You may have noticed we have changed our instagram handle.. to LK Wedding as Laura has joined as an equal partner in the business, we chose to change the business name from Florence & Hope Flower Studio to reflect our new venture. F&Hfs will always have a place in my heart, after all it was named in honour of my girls.
But it’s time to move forwards with our combined floristry & styling business. We are still going to have a nod to Florence & Hope in the business somewhere though!

I’ve been trying and failing to post this reel since Saturday morning but one thing and another interrupted me. So whilst I have ten minutes to myself whilst the better half does the Tesco chocolate run (mini eggs if you’re wondering) I thought I’d finally press share!
A few before and afters of the installations created last year and I’ve been very busy designing away for some beautiful ones for this year and next 🤍
Installations are the one thing most couples covert, but they are a big expense on top of more big expenses, so understandably quite often get ruled out.
It’s tricky to say how much they’ll cost, varying factors such as:
✨ The time of year, flowers are much more expensive around Valentine’s & Mothers Day for example
✨The mechanics & logistics - how tall / wide, what equipment will we need (cherry picker / scaffolding / ladders)
✨Staff costs - one jaw dropping design I’ve quoted on recently would need 10 - 15 experienced freelancers for example
✨ Is the design being moved? If so, where to? How?
The list goes on. Always ask though, perhaps one idea is out of your reach but we can always suggest other stunning options that you’ll love just as much 🤍

For C back in July, dancing Ranunculus, Toffee, Cappuccino & Dorchester Roses, Scabious & Lisianthus ☕️ 🧡
I always like to add something floaty in the bouquets I create, these Ranunculus were perfect for a bit of whimsy, plus I love how the flower naturally turns orange to yellow.. that’s why you need to chose a florist you trust. The yellow tone wasn’t in C’s wedding palette and if I was worried she’d hate it, I wouldn’t have included it, but that would have meant missing out on an extra special floral detail. The bouquet would have been less airy and have a completely different look and feel.
If you’re dreaming of a floaty, flower filled bouquet, full of scent and a few extra special moments, such as a few home grown stems, I could be the florist for you! Enquire in link above ☝🏻
