The cake cutting moment symbolizes the first official task as a married couple! Sharing a bite of cake, symbolizes your union and the promise to forever provide for one another.
How beautiful is that? Its not just cake! It's a promise to each other, it's a symbol of your union and your love, just like your wedding rings, and the best bit, is it's sweet!
So just like exchanging wedding rings, having a wedding cake & cutting it is a must!

Your cake is an important part of your day. It makes a statement and forms a central part of your decor as well as a delicious treat for your guests to enjoy.
Far from being all about style over substance, my cakes taste as good as they look, incorporating classic as well as fusion flavours, which I've spent many a days, tweaking & improving my recipes to perfection, making your wedding cake a talking point for your guests.
I care about our environment, wherever possible, I aim to reduce waste & offer plant based, vegan wedding cakes, and consider footprint to look after our beautiful planet.

Did you know that the wedding cake tradition started in ancient Rome?
In ancient Rome, once the marriage ceremonies ended, a scone-like wheat or barley cake was broken over the bride’s head for good luck and for fertility. The newly weds would eat a few crumbs together as one of their first unified acts as a married couple, unlike the mouthful of icing you’d get today, but close enough. Once the husband & wife had their share, the wedding guests would scoop up the leftover crumbs for good luck!
