Yesterday I had the honor of presenting at the Business Management Tourism conference in Puglia, Italy. Puglia’s exceptional venues and infrastructure make it an ideal destination for hosting grand Indian weddings. The region’s renowned hospitality ensures that local vendors are eager to collaborate, turning dream weddings into reality.

During the conference, I was asked about the cultural parallels between Italy and India. Both cultures cherish close-knit family bonds, place significant emphasis on food during celebrations, and incorporate music and dance into multi-day wedding festivities. These shared traditions create a harmonious blend when planning Indian weddings in Italy.

Puglia’s luxurious venues, including its charming masserias, provide picturesque settings for such events. With a favorable climate from spring through autumn, outdoor ceremonies are often graced with beautiful weather. Moreover, Puglia’s accessibility—just a 2.5-hour flight from the UK—adds to its appeal as a wedding destination.

What an incredible way to wrap up Kitty & Shiv’s wedding celebrations! Their black-and-red-themed reception was nothing short of spectacular, complete with a high-energy Bollywood-style rave that had everyone dancing till dawn.

From the elegant pre-events to this final night of non-stop celebrations, it was such an honor to plan and manage their wedding journey. The couple’s energy, along with their guests’ enthusiasm, truly brought every moment to life. Seeing everyone let loose and enjoy the night so completely was the ultimate reward.

The Haldi ceremony of Kitty and Shiv was nothing short of magical. With the golden hues of turmeric, the sound of laughter filling the air, and the warmth of family and friends, it was a celebration to remember.

The gardens of Henwick House was converted into a burst of vibrant colors, with yellow marigold garlands, delicate floral rangolis, and bright cushions scattered across a beautifully draped courtyard. The sunlit setting added an extra glow to the already radiant Haldi ceremony.

The vibrant wedding of Kitty and Shiv was definitely one of my top picks from earlier this year. Navigating the logistics of an outdoor venue allowed us to unleash our creativity and utilize a beautiful natural setting. The blend of the Bihari Hindu ceremony with aspects of a Gujarati Hindu ceremony was a unique experience for many. It was wonderful to see both cultures unite, creating a truly memorable day for all the guests present.

The thoroughly enjoyed the experience of planning, designing snd delivering the celebrations.

The ground floor at shopping centre was converted into a mini Wedding Wonderland on Saturday.

Having workshops on fashion and beauty, we led on designing, delivering and hosting a mock indian wedding and a bollywood dance worshop.

Shoppers enjoyed a glass of fizz while taking part in the workshops throughout the afternoon.

A huge thanks to for this great collaboration and to all beauty brands and fashion brands at John Lewis for participating in making it a huge success.
