Good morning! As it's Valentines day this Friday I thought I would share this huge & flamboyant heart shaped bouquet, I mean who wouldn't like to receive this? I know I would!! Hello to everyone out there on this wet, wet Sunday afternoon! Today I am sharing a photo of one of my luxury, hand tied gift bouquets. I love it when my customers ask for tropical flowers, can you spot the orchids? This gentleman always asks me to include some orange flowers for his red headed wife, the combination of strelitzia, delphiniums and eryngium always work well together and the lilies gave this bouquet the ultimate wow factor in look and fragrance. It's been so incredibly busy in my flower studio and I'm so grateful to all of my customers for their trust and lovely orders. Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead. Jo

Good morning! it's been incredibly busy in my flower studio, with lots of flowers being delivered for many different reasons. Lots of bouquets have gone out to schools for teachers, a couple of very special ones for a local very special headteacher who has retired. But my favourite one from yesterday was such a surprise as it was collected by my daughter's first primary school teacher! We both had a jolt of jot and surprise as we recognised each other! Good morning! Today I thought i would share this little clip of a beautiful wedding bouquet that I was asked to create for a very special bride... She wanted flowers that have a special connection and meaning to her and didn't particularly like roses. After she collected her flowers, she messaged me to say that she was so happy that couldn't stop looking at her bouquet...and I couldn't stop smiling! :)

Let me talk about our beautiful, kind and simply wonderful Elena Horsnell. This is her love story where she married her sweetheart Luke Horsnell & on 12/10/2024 I got to play a special flowery part in their wedding day! Flowers for the daughter of a florist have to be fabulous! & I feel such joy in saying these really were... I have waited a very long time to be part of this happily ever after. Elena's mum Sue was my teacher, mentor, dearly loved best friend & sister of my heart. Over the course of 8 years our lives and families became entwined. Sadly we lost her just over 16 years ago & needless to say, her 4 daughters & granddaughters, her loving family & friends miss Susie very, very much. Creating her farewell flowers was one of the hardest, bittersweet, yet most beautiful &love filled jobs I have ever done. UNTIL THE WEDDING!! Elena is a very special daughter & much loved sister, cousin, niece & grandchild in the Harry / Tomlins family. She is incredibly stylish, with a love of unusual clothes& accessories, so the biggest compliment she gave to me was to say her wedding bouquet, a hand tied, asymmetrical, semi crescent, trailing bouquet was the best accessory ever! All of her special people wore buttonholes or corsages & her adorable nieces carried complementary hand tied, posy bouquets. I was absolutely delighted when Elena said that the flowers acted as a glue for them all & it truly felt like Sue was with them on that very special day. Elena & Luke had a very stylish, intimate wedding day, attended by immediate family & close friends that was filled with love and joy. Her flowers were a perfect reflection of this, I hope you will enjoy seeing them. Luckily for me, Sue has 3 more daughters, so I've said to myself, GIRL YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO UP YOUR FLOWERY GAME!
