Join us in congratulating our very own Dawn and Duane who are celebrating 35 years of marriage today! 🍾🥂

Their wedding adventure began when they flew to Portugal with family and took a road trip across to Spain. Back then you had to spend 6 weeks in the country if you wanted to get married there so they opted to tie the knot in British Gibraltar.

Following their honeymoon, the newlyweds celebrated with 120 guests at the Elms Hotel in Morecambe with larger than life pictures of their Gibraltar wedding day and no less than 7 DJs spinning the wheels of steel!

Trendsetters for the time, weddings abroad were relatively unheard of and it was an adventure they’ll never forget!

Dawn also designed her own wedding dress which was then made by her lovely Mum 💖
