When I meet a couple for the first time I very often get asked "how did you start?" it’s a long one……(watch out for an upcoming blog post for the full story!) but I started my career as a womenswear designer after graduating from Portsmouth university with a Fashion,textiles enterprise degree. I worked in the fashion industry as a designer and then studio manager for 8 years before getting married in 2015. I had always wanted my own business and getting married taught me exactly how I could use my creative and management skills…..a wedding stationery, prop hire and styling business!
After a year of working full time and starting the business I took the plunge to leave my job and chase my dream!shortly after we found out I was pregnant so having Iris and then a pandemic has meant it’s taken time to build my business but I’m so happy with where it’s going!

I send you a form to fill in……
You tell me:

💚Any other details,such as your evening food
🧡Don’t forget to tell me about any other details you want to include,such as your pets!
I send you a proof and you let me know if there any changes!Then it goes to print and I arrange delivery 😊

I am a big fan of having a menu on each place setting.For this wedding we supplied them with a vellum wrap printed with the couples names and finished with a gorgeous wax seal ❤️

Some of you may have noticed something new around here 👀👀👀….
A new logo!What do you all think?!I have ummed and aaahhhdd about changing it,but I created my original logo back in 2016 and so much has changed since then!Since I started I have always done stationery,styling and decor hire,however I have decided to no longer do the decor and styling side and focus solely on the stationery.It has always been my big love and creative output and the one element of the business I could never give up!Years ago I did some business mentoring and when she asked me about my stationery I said “oh I never really think about it” and she said “that’s because it comes so naturally to you,you don’t have to think about it” and she’s right( 👀👀) That has stuck with me,I loved the styling and collecting and making decor but it was something I had to work at and imposter syndrome always struck when it came to styling.For a long time I’ve been like a duck floating on the water with its feet paddling like mad underwater.It wasn’t sustainable and eventually became too much.Last year I did some business coaching ( 👀) and when we went through why I had started the business I realised something had to change to get back that balance in my life that I longed for when starting the business.Again I was asked “why aren’t you just doing stationery” and I needed to hear that from someone else because my answer was “I don’t know” despite it making perfect sense!So here we are..2024 and with it brings change,new challenges,exciting new prospects AND a new logo!I am so excited to share lots of exciting new things with you so please stick around and share the love for me 🥰Please give this post some love if you got this far ❤️❤️

I thought it about time I show my face around here again!Hi,I’m Kelly…your go-to wedding stationery and mum to Iris ❤️Iris wants to work in weddings like mummy when she’s older 😍
Recently I have changed the direction of my business to just focus on stationery,because ultimately it is what I LOVE 💖I have sooo many ideas and plans and things to do this year so hold on tight!
Some fun facts about me…
❤️I was a fashion designer for 8 years and spent my time in London,whilst also travelling to places like Hong Kong,New York and Paris.
💙I love my friends very much,they keep me sane!
💜I have a very sweet tooth,chocolate is always welcome 😂
💛I love illustrating and drawing all your requests…particularly cute pets!
🧡I would always choose a beach holiday over a snowy one!

Napkins don’t have to be white,tables don’t have to be round and stationery definitely doesn’t need to be boring!!
My best tip is do your wedding YOUR way!If you want colour,have colour.If you want long trestle tables and an informal seating plan then do it!Don’t be scared of colour..not all weddings have to be the same and if colour brings you joy then do it!It definitely brings me joy and my face will light up if you come to me and say you want colourful wedding stationery 😍
