🎉Our Open Day has finally arrived! 🎉

Pop alone and say hi 👋

We have music from DJ Emma Moondust Entertainment, Beautiful Bows showcasing how you can make our hall even more fabulous with chair covers and bows. Live music from Kevin Mack - King of Swing and Michelle from Tess and the Durbervilles with beautiful flowers from Helen Bits and Buds and one of the stunning cars from Two Hearts Wedding Cars.

You can also see balloon creations from the amazing Hazel at OddArt Events - Balloon Artistry and more, soft play and more from On Cloud 9 Events and see what Mrs R Events have to offer from casino tables to race nights where a casino table will be on display for you to try!

Of course you need a great photographer to capture those celebration moments to make memories last forever so we have Richard Puncheon Photography with us also!

And from us at Wright's Meadow at Leighton Buzzard Rugby Football Club you can expect a warm welcome, complimentary tea and coffee, a Bucks Fizz to enjoy while chatting to our Events Team and wonderful suppliers.
There will also be a few tasters from our kitchen and not forgetting our Open Day special offer of 20% offer venue hire!

Our mid month Rugby club meets will be returning from Wednesday April 9th.

Following discussions regarding a lack of numbers due to clashing local events we have decided to move our mid monthly meets to the 2ND Wednesday of the month.

Starting on WEDNESDAY 9TH APRIL the gates to the Leighton Buzzard Rugby Football Club will once again open to welcome you all to gather with your motors and socialise in the sunshine ( we hope 🤞☀️)
Usual timing of 6.30pm and the same old rules will still apply.

All shapes and sizes of vehicles are welcome as always and we hope to welcome you all back to some fuel filled events at the rugby club!

What. A. Performance. Buzzards maintain their hot streak with an absolutely dominant performance at closest rivals Rugby Lions RFC to lock in their position at the top of the league and keep their maximum points haul going.

Seven tries from the Buzzards and a resolute defence saw the boys secure their first shut out of the season!

🔀 DAVENTRY STEP IN 🔀

A huge thank you to Daventry RFC who are sending their 2nd XV to town on Saturday afternoon following the withdrawal of our original opponents South Leicester Rugby Union Football Club - kick off is 2.15pm

We send our best wishes to South Leicester and hope to see them back on the park very soon. With that withdrawal, Buzzards collect the 5 league points for a walkover and bring up 60 league points.

Elsewhere in the league this weekend, 2nd place Rugby Welsh RFC have their bye weekend while 3rd place Rugby Lions RFC welcome Deepings Rugby Union F.C.

Fourth place Luton Rugby await the visit of the leagues entertainers, Sileby Vikings Rfc who are hot on the heels of a dramatic late win against Stamford College Old Boys RFC
