Today is my eldest bud’s last ever day at school! 🥹😱

The fact is I think I’m totally cool with it….the reality…I’m not sure I am 😂😂

I’ll just remind myself how much I hate school runs, school admin and lunch boxes and breath a sigh of relief that’s nearly done 😂😂

Shout out to the parents and kids and rallying support for end of term-itus whilst aaaaall the shows, payments, trips and whatever else is thrown in before they finish! I tell you now if there’s a fancy dress costume to sort I’m gonna flip 😂😂

💍Not a bad backdrop to say your vows by if I do say so myself! 💍

So many happy and heartfelt congratulations to Bethany and Owen today who got married at ! I really do love it here, it’s a beautiful tranquil venue, perfect for intimate weddings.

You couldn’t have asked for more perfect surroundings or June sunshine today!

Our arch is packed full of plus oodles of stunning scented British flowers from and it was such a gosh darn pleasure to create this morning.

If you asked me if I liked purple, I’d say no….but then if you said what about pinky purple…well then I’m in absolute LOVE!

This bouquet included some stunning flowers from my local British grower plus Dutch varieties and they married together perfectly!

Ever have a day where you just feel totally overwhelmed? Yea me too….usually 3 days before any wedding or event I’m flowering 😂

Come on fellow suppliers, it’s not just me right?

It’s this crazy adrenaline filled mix of excitement, anticipation and nerves!

Everything is about to get prepped and final details are being tweaked! Extra staff are being guided and given the plan, flowers are arriving…will they all be right when I open the box!!!??? I’m on the start line waiting for what feels like forever for the starting gun knowing once I’m off it’s time sensitive and there’s no down time so that everything is as perfect as possible! And then it’ll be over just like that 💕

And everyone thought it was just the happy couple who got pre wedding jitters…I’m right here with you guys 😂😂

Oh and on top of that I seem to be enjoying a few hot flushes this morning, plus a gorgeous flutter of orders have come in that need to go out today too, thanks Budders.

What a ride 😂

Wooowee, I’ve had to close orders for today I’m afraid Budders!

I’ve allocated all my flowers before a new delivery tomorrow aaand I’ve got a wedding this weekend to prep for and final bits to collect from around the county.

I’ll also be out setting up on Saturday morning so please keep it in mind that if you’re wanting a bouquet, order in advance.

My neighbours at Michael Anthony estate agents are so wonderful and will often look after flowers for you to collect from theirs in my absence. Always a work around so you still get your flower fixes Budders.

Oh and foot note…these were the last guaranteed peonies of the season so enjoy this virtual bunch until we see them in abundance again next year.

🏳️‍🌈LEIGHTON BUZZARD PRIDE FESTIVAL🏳️‍🌈

Yay, it’s here and if you didn’t come out to play last year you should definitely try to head into town later today for a family friendly market then at 5pm a great big fun show outside the black lion.

And you can drop into Bits and Buds today to make or buy a bright and fun flower crown to wear too! They’re only £8, you can make your own (I’ll show you a nice simplified version) or buy one off the rack so to speak.

Show your support to our community and join the fun xx too many key board warriors on some sites so I hear, let them stay there whilst the rest of us live our lives and enjoy the diversity of humanity and all the joy that can bring with it!
