The Letchworth band had not long started out around the April of 1907 making it's very first public appearance. Annie Lawrence was recorded as one of the bands top contributor's from their very first appearance. They played regularly at The Cloisters after that and in 1925 she presented The Letchworth band with a set of tubular bells which was gratefully welcomed by the secretary Mr Witherden. It was also recorded that the band went on to perform “Bells of Ouseley” using their new addition.
