Hello all!
Any signs of spring yet? A few snowdrops appearing and the catkins are just starting to wiggle their tails if you look hard enough.
As we brace ourselves for some wild weather to come how much more has January got to throw at us!
Apparently a wet January, a wet spring! Hopefully not!
Lucy in today for your flowery needs. X🌿

Good morning! And what a beautiful one!
I’m jobbing about today, I’m going to plant the last of my bulbs (I know it’s sooo late)!
A couple of deliveries to do then we are finally doing the attic bathroom, after 8 years of a hole in the landing, so I’m off to get doors and shop for tiles!
I did a demo for West Tanfield WI last night, a great bunch of ladies who meet in the pub every month, now that’s my kind of WI…
Anyway, a photo of our muscari pots, they fly out as quick as they’re made!
Have a great day all!

Hello all and Merry Christmas!
I hope you all had a super day yesterday!

Today is my favourite day of Christmas, warmed up Christmas lunch is the best and a nice walk this afternoon is much needed.
I feel like I’ve been in hibernation, December is a marathon, a month of solid chaos, going to work in the still nearly dark and coming home in the dark takes its toll, so I’m hoping for a lovely day outside to enjoy some much needed vitamin D.

The shop has been so busy. it’s fab to have the buzz of so many customers in and out!
Thank you to everyone who ordered flowers and wreaths, who came on our workshops and those who just pop in with a jam jar now and then. We are eternally grateful!

We are closed until the 8th of Jan for a break. See you in the new Year!

Amy 🌿x

Good morning all!
Sorry it’s been so quiet on here. Silly season is upon us!
Huge thank you to everyone who attended our wreath workshops. 100 places over a week is full on but some fabulous wreaths made and some lovely, super talented ladies came along. It’s my favourite thing to do, the sense of achievement is a joy to see.
Speaking of wreaths we are still beavering away making them. If you’re very lucky you’ll find one outside but demand is higher than our fingers can make them so orders are a priority.

Spot the new stock…..super chuffed to be stocking they are a beautifully packaged, handcrafted, eco conscious luxury brand so we’re delighted to support them.

Signing off loads to do. Will try harder to get content for you all, promise!

Still loving the Autumn colours 🍁🍂

Good morning from a sunny Leyburn!
Hope alls well!
It’s starting to get a lot cooler and the vests have made an appearance.
How beautiful are the skies and colours of the trees. I think Autumn is my favourite season. Spring is a close second although I’m sure I will have said in Spring it’s my favourite season closely followed by autumn.
The hedges are full of berries and the pinky, red Elder has been a delightful addition to arrangements over the last few weeks.
I was kindly invited to The Upper Wensleydale Ladies Luncheon Club yesterday. (Who knew it was a thing) I’m looking forward to joining various clubs when I retire, they have a marvellous time. served a cracking lunch and I ended with an Autumn demo. What a great way to spend an afternoon!
Bye for now! X🌿

Good morning!
How’s things! Sorry I’ve been quiet on here, it’s been flat out.
A September/October catch up needed….
The shops been busy with lots of flowers out these last few weeks, the website is working so well for collections, deliveries and booking workshops.
Christmas workshops are filling up fast with some dates full so don’t dilly dally if you’re thinking about it.
A new term has meant new challenges for me as Lydia is at 6th form in Ripon, so I’m dropping and picking her at West Tanfield. Just a little more chaos added to a chaotic life!
Harry broke his ankle playing rugby so he’s been to ferry to hospital etc.
We now have pigs on the farm! They are curios animals we love them, much more entertaining than sheep but a lot more smelly!

This week we’ve had a huge funeral, st Eval has arrived, a basket delivery, another homeware delivery with trinkety things you’ll all love.
Today is a wedding and 2 Autumn workshops this afternoon and this evening.
If you’ve made it this far well done and thank you! Amy x 🌿

A rare day off today to visit the fabulous ! What a treat, dahlia heaven! I’ve come away with an expansive list for next year!
15 mins away is Corbridge, what a gorgeous little town for lunch and some fabulous independent shops. Highly recommend a visit to both!

Lovely wedding last weekend at Congratulations M&C!
You’ll have noticed we don’t do as many weddings these days, one a month is our quota. It’s hard to find cover and be torn from the shop so we’ve found a happy medium.
Bolton Castle has a special place in my heart having done my first ever wedding there 16 years ago. Trends have changed dramatically since then but the Castle flowers are always consistently tasteful.
