I’ve been working on a few personal craft projects whilst my Etsy’s been closed, one being the pleasure of making the welcome sign for my friends baby shower, whilst was the boujee-est baby shower I’ve ever attended!

I have made the decision to close my diary until further notice.

I’m currently faced with a few too many personal factors that isn’t allowing me to provide the ultimate service I want to give to my customers so I am down tooling until I can pour all my time and effort in to it again.

All open orders will be complete and delivered still to my high standards, but I wont be taking on any additional orders.

Doesn’t it just hit you right in the 00’s nostalgia?! Absolutely incredible and such an amazing set to collab with Millie on.

The toppers came complete as a whole set but can be separated into an individual main topper, or a set of the smaller charms/cupcake toppers.

Don’t @ me cos it’s January and I’m posting Christmas content,

Before they get lost in my thousands of photos on my phone, I just NEEDED to share these Santa gift boxes I made 🥹🥹🥹 I filled them with all kinds of sweets and chocolates but they could be filled with any small gift, jewellery, gift cards, or even nothing just cos it’s cute 🥰

Give Father Santy a like if these should make an appearance next Christmas.. or even a comparatively cute bunny at Easter?! 🐰

I’ve taken the last minute decision to close for Christmas due to postal strikes and my printer being out of action due to me ordering the wrong colour refill ☠️

I will still be taking last minute local orders that don’t require posting.

Rebranding to The Crafty Lemon and working more closely with small business bakers has allowed me grow and create some weird and wonderful products.

Thanks to everyone who ordered from me and supported me in any way bit or small! It’s been a fun one 🍋

The crafting process of making a cake topper.. at lightning speed ⚡️

I managed to get a 42 minute video down to 16 seconds 🤯

I designed this cake topper for my cousins 18th and it was my first attempt at the shaker style (with the confetti in the middle). This topper has since been quite popular via Etsy, so it’s a keeper - don’t you think?

We’re having a ✨ rebrand ✨

Ok, I know there was a logo remade for Bennillustration and I’m super proud of everything I’ve done and made under this name but I felt like it wasn’t very cohesive and just didn’t really make sense anymore.

So I now introduce THE CRAFTY LEMON 🍋 a fine nod to my crafty side and my love of anything lemon related. Focusing my products on a broader range of party supplies and occasional decoration (you know, celebration cake toppers and Christmas bits and anywhere in between)

I’ve learnt a lot, including how this small biz fits in with my day to day life and how I very rarely stick to one craft, I want to offer the best of me and all my products, hobbies and crafts; as well as the BTS and tips and tricks in to it all.

So look out for a few more changes and new products around here. Cmon, it’s gonna be juicy.

Remember a few weeks ago when I offered £1 toppers on a range of designs? Well this is one of em. Just look at the difference between the initial digital idea to the final topper 😍

You really can’t show that 3D element on a digital draft, sometimes you just gotta trust the process.

And how good does it look in the customers cake?! Made by her mum may I add. Incredible 👏🏼
