Evening Tribe! :)

Well that was a most enjoyable night at Sanctuary Forever Pt 1 on Saturday, playing some of the old slow stuff from way way back at the beginning of the Techno scene such as Mentasm, right up to some of the harder & the somewhat more twisted & demented stuff as such as Moby 1000 BPM. l noticed some who hadn't heard 1000 before looking & wondering WTF is happening & going on😲. Well that's what i do & if its bizarrrrre & abnormal you can be sure l'll be playing it. ;)

lt's pretty hard to encapsulate the Techno music of the 90's in just 1 hour & hope there was something for everyone who came along.

For the many who asked on the night & didn't get to see me wear my mirrored suit, well I'm sure you'll understand if l had worn it whist DJ'ing l probably would of been carried & taken out on a stretcher as it was extremely hot up there, with only about 3-4 ft celling space of air.

l did quickly pop into the D&B room to see a few DJ's i wishing to speak to, but it also had a low celling & was just as hot as the Techno room, which i think is something that needs to be addressed in both rooms rather than the main arena which had a much bigger production spent on lasers & lights.

Hopefully if there's another 1 they will improve in the Techno & D&B room with some industrial fans blowing cold air in from the exit doors when opened so you all remain safe & well & then maybe just maybe if they do i will wear my mirrored suit next time. But understand - " you " must request it as i will, as safety is paramount for all of us there + its what you all pay for within your tickets ;)

So thanks again to those who came along & took the journey with me & reminisced to the sounds of the 90's Techno.

Afternoon Tribe!

A quick visit as i have been getting my set ready for November 2nd where l will be playing this track as i will be converging along with 5000 ravers for the old skoool event Sanctuary Forever V7 Saxton that we've all been waiting for in Milton Keynes.

Where I will be twisting it up playing early 90's mid 90's & late 90's.

There are limited tickets left for the 2nd date which is the following weekend at the same venue. so get your tickets before they are all gone.

For those that are going on the 2nd of November there are so many great tunes from the 90's its hard which to choose from them all. l have 1 hr so will mashing it up just the way i do with some monsters from the 90's.

This track will be making an appearance & so i look forward seeing you all stomping on the dance floor!

This is 1 thing to look out for next year where you can catch me along side all the DJ'S & MC'S as we will be returning to Saxton St V7 again where we all played at the Sanctuary that made the Sanctuary & the 90's what it was with you all that visited it along side us all.
& if you haven't been before your in for a treat of classic old skoooool music from the 90's.

Where we all will be playing the 90's music that catapulted the UK Rave dance scene before it travelled across the globe to what it now has become today. (the rest of the world your welcome ;) )

Evening Tribe!

l'm back briefly, just to let you know where i am as l've been absent. As l'm very busy working on 2 new projects for next years adventures.

But a question that has popped up yet again & is no surprise really - about the old spice or The Omen 1 film tune...

lt's a record l have played from 1992 in all my sets since then & became a signature tune to let people know i am playing as 1 its very powerful & 2 its very hard to forget once heard.

l went back to Warp records in Sheffield 3 days after i bought it to get another copy but was told by Chris (half of the DJ duo Astrix & space of Sheffield - Hi hope your both well & life is good)
& asked Chris for another copy & he said it was pulled from the shelves the day after i got it because of copyright infringement.

Evening Tribe, hope you enjoyed your sunny weekend :)

Here's another mind bender that really dominated the dance floors as soon as it jumped out from the speakers, there have been many remixes done of this, but this original techno mix still sounds the best in my opinion.

I'm gonna be in a mission travelling up & down & across the UK this week so there wont be a post on Friday.
