Hi, we are Penny and Vicki. We hire out all you need for an indoor sleepover party !!
A bit about us - we both have 3 children, Pennyโs are quite a bit older than Vickiโs !! Penny has a dog - Toby, Vicki has 2 cats - Ginger and Tilly. We both have long suffering and patient husbands !!
We were both primary school teachers, Vicki until a few years ago, Penny quite a few years ago !!
We are both Rainbow and Brownie leaders, and hold various other roles within Girlguiding Staffordshire !! Through our volunteering with Girlguiding we both hold current DBS checks which are redone every 5 years, and we are both up to date with safeguarding and GDPR training.
We love experimenting with our sleepover equipment, thinking up new themes and trying them out.
We enjoy meeting you and setting up in your home so your children have a magical sleepover experience.
We are happy to come along before the big day itself to check that all the tents will fit !!
We respond to emails and messages as soon as we can, often Penny will respond as Vicki works as well as runs Cosy Camping of Lichfield. Nothing is too much trouble.

Children love to arrive at the party venue and see their sleepover set up. We will come and set up the required number of tents, complete with bedding and accessories for an indoor childrenโs sleepovers. Even better we come and take them all away the following day!!
All that will restrict you is the space you have, please see below for the space each tent will need.
We often have special offers on, for parties booked and the deposit paid for in November and December we are offering a Cosy Camping Mini Tray, usual cost of ยฃ10 for 4 guests, absolutely free !! With a choice of our sweet shop or our hot chocolate tray itโs a difficult choice to make!!
We also offer gift vouchers. These come in multiples of ยฃ25 in a presentation box with a hint of the experience inside - a small gift compliments of ourselves.

We are happy to look at other themes if you have a specific idea in mind.
What you will get.
Your package includes a tent, a mattress, a mattress cover, a blanket, cushions, a box for you to fill with treats or for the children to store their overnight gear in. In addition there will be decorations and lights to match your chosen theme.
Each set will cost you ยฃ25 to hire.
The sets will be delivered and set up by ourselves at a convenient time for all, no later than 5pm, and dismantled and collected by 10am the following day, again by ourselves.
Delivery costs are included to within a radius of 5 miles from Lichfield. Delivery over and above that will be at 40p a mile.
Equipment
each mattress is 185cms long and 76cms wide. We use Eurohike flocked air mattress.
each tent is 120cms tall, 120cms deep and 112cms wide. We need a minimum of 112cms per tent width wise and 185cms lengthwise, please measure your available space and let us know how much room you have, there will not be a refund if the tents cannot be accommodated in your space. We have to ensure that in cases of emergency there are clear entrances and exits from rooms in consideration of health and safety issues.
the tents must not be located next to an open flame such as a candle, open fire, gas fire, or any other source of flammable substance. Most lights provided by ourselves are battery powered and may be left on safely over night. If we provide a mains electric light please turn off before the children go to sleep.
the tents are designed to be used by 5+ children under strict adult supervision.
Money Matters
50% payment needs to be made upon booking. This is a non refundable deposit.
The remaining 50% needs to be paid no later than 7 days before delivery and set up of the equipment.
We prefer payment by bank transfer.
Whilst you are in possession of our equipment we ask for a holding deposit of ยฃ50. This will be returned once the equipment has been collected and tested for damage. Normally after 24 hours.
Any damages caused to the equipment whilst in your possession will be charged for at a reasonable rate.

Terms and conditions.
The โHirerโ means the person signing the hire agreement.
The 50% deposit will secure your booking. A booking form will be required 7 days after securing the booking.
A holding deposit of ยฃ50 will be taken at drop off of the equipment and returned 24 hours after collection. The equipment will be checked.
Final balance is required 7days before the hire of the equipment. BACS payment is preferred.
Final numbers and choices must be received at least 14 days before hire date. Any booking reductions after this time will still be charged for at the previous rate with no refunds due.
The Hirer is responsible for providing us with any medical information, including allergies, for all children attending the party. We take no responsibility for allergies when we have not been advised in advance. We do not accept any responsibility for the welfare of the children whilst at the party, this remains the Hirerโs responsibility.
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information given to us and to pass over the information in sufficient time for us to perform the contract safely and without risk, within 14 days of the event occurring to avoid last minute disappointment.
We reserve the right to make any changes to the service we deem necessary without notice to the Hirer. If this results in less than original hire cost we will refund the difference.
The Hirer is responsible/liable for any injury or damage occurring from or as a result of or inappropriate use of or misuse of or reckless use of any of our equipment.
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure children are supervised at all times whilst in possession of our equipment. We will charge the Hirer for costs of damage to any property caused by any breach of this clause.
It is the Hirers responsibility to ensure all participants comply with instructions we have given you to ensure safety of all.
We accept no liability or responsibility to the Hirer for any damages, costs, losses, claims, expenses, demands and proceedings including property of the Hirer or participants.
We will use all reasonable endeavours to provide the services you have hired us for and will perform the services with due diligence, care, reasonable skill in accordance with health and safety regulations currently in force at this time.
We will process all data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
It is not our intent to violate any copyright laws and all themes are inspired by current trends.
The Hirer is responsible for all participants and must make parent/carers aware that we are not responsible for the care and safety of the children.
We recommend Hirers ask parents/carers for medical/allergies details of participants at least 14 days before the event.
In the interest of health and hygiene no animals are to be allowed access to the equipment. Any additional cleaning we have to partake of will incur an extra cost to the Hirer.
Cancellation by the Hirer - cancellation less than 6 days before the booking will receive no refund.
Cancellation by us - if we have to cancel the event due to conditions out of our control we will refund any monies paid to us by the Hirer in respect of the booking. We are not liable to pay any compensation to the Hirer or any other person for any loss, damage or expenditure arising directly or indirectly from the cancellation.
We reserve the right to terminate the booking without notice if there is a breach of these conditions.
We have public liability insurance.
All our play equipment has been tested and is CE compliant.
Please do not smoke near the tents, if they are returned smelling of smoke a cleaning charge of ยฃ10 per tent will be incurred.
Liability
Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude the liability of Cosy Camping of Lichfield, which may not be limited or excluded by law, including without limitation for death or personal injury caused by Cosy Camping of Lichfield's negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, Cosy Camping of Lichfield shall have no liability (whether arising under contract, tort or for breach of statutory duty or otherwise) to the extent that such liability would not have arisen but for the Hirers breach of contract.
Subject to the above clauses Cosy Camping of Lichfield aggregate liability for all claims in relation to the contract (whether arising under contract, tort, or for breach of statutory duty or otherwise)shall not exceed the price paid by the Hirer.
This contract is governed and construed in accordance with English law and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
No information included in this booking form will be disclosed to any third party.
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to inform guests accordingly of the above terms and conditions.
Cosy Camping of Lichfield has suitable public liability insurance and takes the utmost care to ensure the safety of all participants guests at all times. Cosy Camping of Lichfield tents and canopies are independently tested and marked CE in accordance with the Toy Safety Regulations UK 2011.
- We use high quality products and follow strict hygiene routines.
Liability can not be taken for reactions or injury sustained whilst attending a party or thereafter.
All persons using Cosy Camping of Lichfield's equipment do so at their own risk and it is the party Hirer who is responsible / liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as an result of inappropriate use or misuse or reckless use..
This information is given for the safety of all people attending a party hired from Cosy Camping of Lichfield and it is the sole responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that they are understood and adhered to by all party guests invited.
Any inadvertent delay, omission or error in complying with the terms and conditions of this contract shall not be held to relieve either party hereto form any liability, which would attach to it hereunder if such delay, omission or error had not been made, provided such delay, omission or error is rectified upon discovery.
