Last Month we had the absolute pleasure of Hosting Kira and Sams wedding, and from start to finish it was an absolute joy to work with the both of them for what has to be one of the funniest weddings we have ever done, from a sing-along in the ceremony to a kahoot quiz and of course we cannot forget the cutest ring bearer in the wedding ceremony it really was a delight to be a part of their wedding day.

From all of us here at the Lincoln County Assembly Rooms, we would like to wish the both of you all of the best, and once again a massive congratulations to you both! xx

Christmas Party Nights 2025 at the Lincoln County Assembly Rooms

Join us for an unforgettable evening of festive food, great music, and seasonal celebration at one of Lincoln’s most beautiful venues. Our Christmas Party Nights are taking place on Friday 28th November and Friday 19th December, and are perfect for business Christmas parties, friends getting together, or any group looking to celebrate the season in style.

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Bucks Fizz on arrival 🥂, followed by a delicious festive menu and entertainment from our DJ to keep the party going into the night 🎶.

Choose from a one, two, or three-course menu:
1 course – £27.50
2 courses – £35.50
3 courses – £43.50
(Guests will select one starter, one main, and one dessert.)

Starters

Spiced parsnip and apple soup with parmesan croutons

Duck and orange parfait on toasted bloomers

Traditional prawn cocktail with bread and butter

Mains
All mains are served with baton carrots, Brussels sprouts, braised red cabbage, and roast gravy.

Roast Norfolk turkey with roast and mashed potatoes, stuffing, pigs in blankets, and Yorkshire pudding

Baked salmon fillet in a white wine sauce

Roast vegetable wellington in a red wine sauce (V, VG, GF, DF)

Desserts

Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce or custard

Baileys brioche bread and butter pudding with custard

Chocolate brownie topped with fruit coulis and served with vanilla ice cream 🍫 (can be made GF/VG)

Dairy and gluten-free options are available with most dishes.

In the wake of our most recent post we think it is important to mention some of the most wonderful events we have hosted here over the year so far. We have had some of the nicest people and guests through our doors and cannot thank you all enough for the kindness you have shown to all the staff working on your events both front of house and behind the scenes.

Over the coming days we will begin to share some of the beautiful weddings and events we have had over the season and cannot wait to continue hosting many more as the year begins to draw to an end in the coming months.

Once again we would love to thank all of our wonderful customers and guests, it truly is a pleasure being apart of your day, no matter the occasion x

My Dearest Readers,

Even the grandest of ballrooms, it seems, must bow to the demands of upkeep.

It is with the deepest regret that I must inform you of a change to our much-anticipated Bridgerton Style Ball. Due to unavoidable maintenance required at our venue, this glittering affair can no longer take place this September. Instead, society shall reconvene on the 3rd–5th of April 2026—when the chandeliers shall gleam brighter than ever, and the dance floor shall be polished to perfection.

Though I know this news may bring a pang of disappointment, rest assured: all tickets already purchased shall remain valid for the new dates. For those unable to join us in April, full refunds will of course be granted without fuss.

I extend my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this alteration may cause. Yet let us look ahead, dear reader: for when the ton gathers again in the springtime, it shall be with even greater anticipation, and the Ball shall shine all the more brilliantly for its delay.

Until then, polish your dancing slippers, perfect your curtsies, and prepare your finest attire—for April shall bring splendour worth waiting for.

Good morning, I am pleased to announce that after six days BT have finally fixed the fault with our connection and both our broadband and phone lines are back to running as normal.

We want to thank everyone for their patience, as well as the team at BT Lincoln for helping us fix the issue after going in circles with other departments for a week 🙃
