Hi Everyone, have you all now had your refunds? If not have you emailed Brown paper tickets to claim it? or claim back of your card company, please let me know, unfortunately there is not a great deal I can do right now as BPT have gone into lockdown because of covid19 and are swamped with work and short on staff, some of you have had refunds according to BPT report sheets but a lot have not.

After today's pm news, the cancellations of many that would run the structure of this event, the costs, maintenance that hadn't happened and the prep it would take to re do the work we have done in perhaps a short time should the situation lift, would be near impossible... we are forced to cancel this event. Funds will automatically be refunded by brown paper tickets,if an event doesnt happen, they are stored with them regardless, we are currently looking into refunding sooner .. please give us a little time to figure this out.. Be well folks and eat your oranges X

It takes a whole year to prepare for a festival, from booking artists, preparing accomodation, cleaning spaces.. arranging crew, then accounting for crew food, public food. Website, licence fees, medical care, security, risk assessments.. not to mention art work, ticket structures and availability. Little wonder many events are cancelling early.. so with this in mind, we are preparing to go ahead with our June plans, we need your support in the way of securing a ticket. If there are no government changes beyond the current isolation period, we as a collective are ready to go. We do need your support, we do need confirmation you want to attend.. this is how we can keep this event on track.. in the worst case scenario that we do have to cancel, you would receive a ticket refund and we would take the hit in the cost of preparation.. so in the spirit of a great summer in spite of its late start.. please support us, support our artists and our vision of a most excellent event X the cabourne folk and blues team ...

Gilded Thieves are the rootsy and raw, can’t quite-put-your-finger-on-them six-piece, hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne. Lovers of live performance, captivators of hearts and purveyors of a chokingly good harmony or two.

With their uniquely niche songs and catchy choruses, including crowd-favourite ‘Gin Bar’, Gilded Thieves treat their live shows like a more’s-the-merrier party invite, from audience participation in old drinking songs, to a well-chosen cover or two, completely reworked in their original style.

Introducing once again, to our Well being area.. .. Three Druids..Creating a Druid space, within Cabourne's grove of tree's. Intelligent discussion, street theatre story telling, a space for contemplative relaxation.

We are three chaps, sometimes two, sometimes four, drawn together by a love of stories, and showing off in public. Known as 'The Hairy Bikers' by the local chippy, we are computer wizz, jongleur and tutor to Merlin, Mark Jones, retired businessman and wizard Brian Barber, and retired university lecturer and priest of the Church of the Latter Day Dude Les Prince, otherwise known as Blaise, Strider and Dumbledore. Our stories will take you on a journey, part fantasy, part mystery, part folklore, and part Pythonesque mayhem. Drawn from folklore and the ancient tales of Britain, as well as more contemporary stories from around the world, and some stuff we've made up, our stories may be dark, others lighter, some funny, some sad, but all are engaging, and we always give them a twist to make them our own. On occasion we are accompanied by an assortment of dragons, wolves and ravens, who are all terribly well behaved and don't bite, although no-one is quite sure whether the cat can be trusted, and definitely steer clear of the Jack Russel (who is not invited in any case). So we invite you to gather round our campfire, and let us take you on a magic carpet ride of friendly, and sometimes anarchic fun.
