✨MEET OUR 2025 ADJUDICATOR✨
Jodie is a prominent performing arts educator, choreographer, and adjudicator with a passion for unlocking potential through creativity and motivation. A graduate of Doreen Bird College with Distinction, Jodie was awarded the prestigious Dancing Times Choreography Award. Her dynamic performing career
spans appearances in commissioned works for Dance Umbrella at the British Library, international performances on luxury cruise liners, and roles in commercials, pantomimes, and summer seasons across the UK and Europe.
Jodie works at The BRIT School, where she has been
instrumental in producing innovative multi-arts projects. Her expertise in technical advancement and artistic development has led her to choreograph for numerous performance platforms, crafting original works that resonate within the performing arts community.
Jodie collaborates closely with renowned industry partners, including Matthew Bourne’s New
Adventures, Dollie Henry MBE, The BRIT Awards, and several elite sporting organisations.
In her freelance work, Jodie is a sought-after examiner, teacher, and mentor, frequently delivering workshops and choreographing for corporate events, flash mobs, and pantomimes. Her educational credentials include an MA in Creative Practice in Education from the University of Chester, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and Fellowship status with
the ISTD. Jodie holds prominent adjudicating roles, serving as an Adjudicator member of The
British and International Federation of Festivals, where she led the development of the new
marking scheme. She is also an Adjudicator and Trustee for All England Dance and a Certified
Adjudicator for Acrobatic Arts. Her adjudication extends to prestigious events such as the
BTDA Championships, AED Regional Finals, and Global Dance Open. She has been a guest
speaker at notable forums including the FA Talent ID Conference and Loughborough University's young leaders program.
Jodie’s commitment to nurturing future talent is evident through her impact at The BRIT
School, with past students flourishing in various sectors of the industry, including performing
for Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, Eve, Rambert and Hofesh companies, as well as West End productions
such as Aladdin, Hamilton & Wicked on stage and film
