The last couple weeks in photos 📸

It’s been crazy busy as we’re fully immersed in the Christmas frenzy of wreath making, flower school classes and keeping the shop stocked with all sorts of loveliness 🥰

This week we’ll be focusing on table arrangements so contact us or pop in to order yours. We’re also taking orders for Christmas bouquets, offering either rich festive purples and reds or the classic cream and green combo.

It’s the busiest month of the year for us but we LOVE it. Bring on the last few weeks, all the spruce and all the fir cones before we close for 2024 🎄

We’ve been working on these behind the scenes for a while so to get all the material and actually create them today was an afternoon well spent. We left the shop with our hands smelling of spruce, moss under our nails and grubby aprons but boy did it feel good to really get stuck into Christmas 🥰

It’s time to say goodbye to Autumn and officially start gearing up for Christmas. It’s been a busy week getting everything ordered and organised now we’re into November.

There’s just a few spaces left on our Christmas wreath classes so book quickly if you’d still like to join us!

Wreaths will be available to purchase in the shop from late November onwards and don’t forget our order book is now open for all your Christmas floral requirements including wreaths, garlands, table arrangements and bouquets.

This year’s wreath designs coming soon but as a teaser the names will be Darcey and Everest so think gentle blush tones, rich golds and luxurious forest greens.

The weather is rubbish but we’re busy here at Petal & Stalk. Fulfilling our orders, ordering ahead, designing our Christmas wreaths and planning our Christmas window.

We tend to have to work one season ahead to keep on top so whilst it’s positively autumnal outside, we’re thinking of spruce, scented candles and fir cones.

Enjoying the locally grown British blooms while we’ve still got them now we’re into September and starting to look ahead to Autumn.

Another brilliant year working with our friends celebrating the best of the British fields throughout the summer.

We’re soaking up these vivid dahlias during the final few weeks of the growing season.

I spy with my little eye…..hand painted candles back in stock 💛

We love these candles, lovingly hand painted by our talented Abigail. They make such a perfect gift or a pretty addition to a table scape you’re putting together at home.

The only problem with them is they’re too pretty to light!

We’re lucky we get to work with all the colours throughout the year, enjoying all the seasonal change as the months and seasons roll by.

Whether it’s the classic green and white or the fun mixture of all the brights, there’s something for everyone with flowers and it’s our pleasure to deliver them to you 💛

Now the sunny weather has got the memo that it’s summer, it feels like we can really start to appreciate the summer flowers 🌸

The vibrant blue/purple larkspur, the striking yellow achilea, the rich scabiosa and now we’re starting to see the first of the British dahlias and cosmos hit our shops 😍

The summer flowers certainly pack a punch in terms of colour and variety.

So nice to be playing with these blooms in the sunshine ☀️

And just like that we’ve now had our last flower school class in the shop before we open the dedicated flower school in September.

This week we’ve been busy making table arrangements using locally grown British flowers from our friends at Old Farmhouse Flowers This is always such a fun class getting students to embrace the “wild and free” design using an array of seasonal flowers to create a table arrangement literally bursting with colour.

Classes will resume again in September in our brand new Flower School. Book now for Autumn wreaths, Christmas wreaths and Christmas table arrangements via our website.

It may still be summer, supposedly, but we’re excited to release our Autumn and Christmas flower school classes for those who want to book ahead and avoid disappointment.

Located just behind our Navenby shop, we’re opening a dedicated flower school. Expect the same Petal & Stalk magic, twinkly lights, enchanting decoration and array of interesting and usual materials but with more working space and fully equipped work benches.

We can’t wait to open the doors to our new facility, welcoming new, and familiar, faces into our flower school classes 💐🩷
