Last night was special! We had a great night at our biggest event to date. Some new faces on the team and they absolutely smashed it out of the park!

Super excited to show off some of our food!

Our first open day will be at the beautiful Hackthorn Estate on the 5th May from 11am - 2pm, and we will be onsite to give you all the information about having an awesome outdoor tipi wedding! Come and have a look at the stunning gardens, meet some fantastic suppliers, and get an idea of how amazing your tipi wedding could be! Hackthorn is located just opposite scampton, and is just 6 miles away from the city (and all its hotels). We are price freezing next year at £7999 and the package includes most of the kit you will need to make the party a memorable one! We have no restrictions on the caterer you can use, (or DJ or bands) and we are also licenced for ceremonies, so you are able to have your wedding just a few yards away from the tipi!

Open day caterer will be the amazing Salted Orange who will be able to give you some delicious menus to choose from, and we will have more suppliers joining us soon!

If you cant make the open day please feel free to get in touch and we'll arrange your own site visit to suit you!

Not for Salted Orange, we promise to continue being our authentic selves by sourcing our main ingredients directly from our farm. However, we do plan to grow our resources and produce even further during 2024!

Unpopular Opinion: Winter Weddings ❄️

Winter is the least popular time of year for couples to share their special day. However, winter is often the most cost effective time to hire a venue space for a wedding and can create the most beautiful natural setting with some mouth-watering winter food on offer. Christmas canapés anyone?

These are the most popular themes for upcoming weddings in 2024 and we love it! Our sharing boards are a great way of achieving that rustic look and are more cost effective than the plated style dinner service. And don't forget our pizza trailer for evening food! Nothing says rustic like a stone baked pizza made to order in our pizza oven so you and your guests can watch the magic happen. 🍕😍

Today is a sad day, we put a dear mentor and chef to rest.

Dusan Lukovic was a mentor in life and the kitchen to business owner Sam.

‘Dukkie’ (pictured right) worked for the likes of anton mossiman and for many others his love for food, music and art inspired many and his memory will live on for years to come.

Also on the right is Sam with hair and fresh faced at 17 😂

After 3 hours of preparing our own pumpkins from the farm after

We’ve finished with a delicious pumpkin pie!

Recipe

300g pumpkin purée
250g double cream
1 tsp mixed spice
100g Maple syrup
3 eggs

Whisk all together and pour into pie mould, bake at 180 for 30 minutes

Did you know we produce our own lamb from the farm?

Our lambs are Hampshire known for their high quality wool and meat.

Our private dining this weekend was the first time we had chance to really play with the food.

Chef and the clients were very happy.
