Happy Halloween from the Lincolnshire Showground Team, who have been busy doing pumpkin decorating which was a great team building exercise.
🎃 Are you thinking what to do with your leftover pumpkins from tomorrow? Give them a second life in an eco-friendly way! 🌱 Here are a few ideas:
1️⃣ Compost It: Pumpkins are 100% compostable! Simply remove any decorations, seeds, and wax, and add the pumpkin to your compost bin to enrich your soil.
2️⃣ Wildlife Treat: Cut pumpkins into small pieces and leave them out as a tasty snack for wildlife. Birds, squirrels, and other animals will thank you!
3️⃣ DIY Face Mask: Pumpkins are rich in vitamins A, C, and E. Blend the pulp with honey and a bit of milk for a natural, nourishing face mask!
4️⃣ Feed Your Garden: Bury pieces of pumpkin in your garden soil; it decomposes naturally and adds nutrients to your plants.
