Lamb Shank Potjie – Tender braised lamb shank with chorizo, pearl onions, butternut, courgette, and new potatoes, all simmered in a rich red wine gravy. Served with a fresh crusty roll to soak up every last drop.

Bang Bang Burger – A vibrant mix of shredded red cabbage, carrot, cucumber, spring onion, and chilli, perfectly paired with our homemade Bang Bang Sauce – a delicious blend of sriracha, sweet chilli, mayo, and honey.

Join us at Bring & Braai Catering! We’re looking for hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to help us continue creating memorable experiences at our exciting events, from private and corporate functions, weddings and film shoots, to sporting events, as well as within our popular food truck.

Positions available:

👨‍🍳 Commis Chef – Support our Head Chef and learn the unique skill of cooking over an open wood fire. Say goodbye to long hours in the same kitchen – this role offers variety, with every event being different. You’ll develop your culinary skills, grow into a Braai master, and eventually take charge of your own events. With flexible hours, early finishes, Sundays off, and good tips, this is the perfect opportunity to combine learning with a great work-life balance. Optional overtime is also available. Full training provided!

💁‍♀️ Casual Staff – Be part of the action, serving customers and preparing food at a variety of exciting events and in our popular food truck. You’ll enjoy flexible hours, good tips, and the option for overtime. Availability is needed for Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Experience not essential – just enthusiasm and a great work ethic!

The annual BIG BRAAI event held at Wimbledon Rugby Club was another great success. Everyone enjoyed a venue packed with Springboks, 2007🏆 World Cup-winning captain John Smith and double World Cup winners, 2019🏆 and 2023 🏆 Andre Esterhuizen, Pieter-Steph du Toit and Kwagga Smith. The weather was perfect, and the company even better. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. Special thanks to our partner Brian for organising it. A fantastic turnout today with 80 guests joining us for the pre-match braai at Twickenham Rowing Club for England vs Wales! 🏉 Big thanks to ex-All Black for joining us.

Our Big Five Menu continues to be a hit - boerewors, chakalaka chicken, pork ribs, minted lamb chops, and Texan rump steak, paired with a selection of freshly made salads. What’s not to love? Lekker food, great company and epic rugby vibes!

Our Story

It all started in 2009, offering a unique mobile braai (BBQ) catering service that caterers for all types of events and occasions arond London and the surrounding counties. We bring the taste and experience of South Africa ‘literally’ to your garden or venue of choice. Come sunshine, rain or snow - we braai! It runs as an autherntic, South African braai, using traditional methods by cooking over an open African hardwood fire to smoke and enhance the flavour of the various meats and food we braai.

It has since become a runaway success with this unique cooking style, cuisine, friendly and personable service. Along the way we have catered at thousands of private homes and various venues around the UK, celebrating parties, weddings, festivals, charity and corporate events, of which many are the UK’s largest blue chip companies.

We are proud and grateful to have been voted as the Best South African Caterers in London!

A braai is a traditional way of life for South Africans – an experience in itself. A braai is all about having a good time and catching up with friends, a combination of everything we all love; family, friends, good food, and drinks! ‘Bring and Braai’ means an invitation to a social gathering to celebrate a special occasion with a group of friends. Whether it be a wedding braai, corporate event braai, birthday party braai, Christmas braai, anniversary braai, going away braai, welcome home braai, a Saturday night just to get a few friends together braai, a housewarming braai, an Easter braai or a Christmas braai - these are all perfectly acceptable times to have a braai.
