Lymphatic drainage with our SPM (suction pump massage) device is set to the correct pressure needed to carry out the treatment so there is consistent and effective drainage. Drainage should be a slow, relaxing and pleasant process.

HOW IT WORKS….
Once the lymph nodes are opened, the build up of excess fluid and toxins are pushed towards the direction of the lymph nodes in sequence - draining back to the bloodstream, flowing through the kidneys where waste is removed and flushes out in your urine.

Lymphatic Drainage / Slimming + Firming Treatment for the Stomach ✨

An optimum detox treatment focusing on the stomach area with the suction pump cupping system.

With form of gentle, specific, sequence movements - the lymphatic drainage is carried out by negative pressure and preselected connections tubes. This encourages the movement of lymph fluids and stimulates the flow.

Results include naturally draining and removing any waste products and toxins from the bodily fluids aswell as naturally firming.

Blood circulation is activated. Cells are regenerated, collagen and elastin fibres are strengthened. The stomach area will appear more even toned and firm.

There has been a couple of lovely new faces lately and I want to share exactly what they had selected on the booking system to make it a little easier. It is the perfect choice of appointment to select when you are coming to Skin Science for the very first time for any face or body treatment.

The endless options of treatments and courses on offer can become very overwhelming for some. With this in mind, there will be plenty of time to discuss what personal goal you have in mind. At this stage I will also happily give my professional opinion - as to what will benefit you, your skin specifically and give you your end result.

A combination of treatments or a course of at least 3 are normally recommended for facial treatments and we change things up with body treatments.

The selected time frame given here will firstly allow you to fill in the all important essential information we need which include your personal details, health background and signing of the relevant forms needed before a treatment is carried out. This can take around 15 minutes. Once you have these signed however - that is normally the paperwork side out of the way unless you need to advise of any changes down the line.

Please remember to be completely open and honest. Your safety is always my number one priority. The devices used are completely safe and non invasive. There are many health benefits that they offer, both as a preventative and for some, steps helping towards a sense of relief. Some in particular will encourage a healthy flow of circulation as part of a treatment so any medication needs to be declared.

What is mechanical lymphatic drainage?

While massage is performed by hand, our mechanical lymphatic drainage treatment is administered by a machine that dispenses the correct pressure every time making the end result so much for effective. The overlapping chambers in place means that no area is being missed.

What is mechanical lymphatic drainage good for?

This pleasant and therapeutic method helps eliminate swelling, heavy legs and the feeling of fatigue. Lymph drainage is activated, cellulite is reduced and metabolism is improved. There will be a sense of lightness throughout the body. Beneficial in the prevention of varicose veins.

What areas in the body does this help with?

Pressure moves upwards specifically in the direction of lymph flow from ankles to knees, hips and pelvis also reaching the lower back and stomach area.

How often should you get this done?

We recommend 1-2 times per week, 6-10 in total to complete a course. A course will always give the full effect of the benefits. One off appointments are always welcome and you can also enjoy alongside a facial treatment.

Who can get this done?

This is very much a treatment for the majority of us as long as there is no specific health issues. We can discuss before to always clarify.

‼️ There are some conditions or circumstances where lymphatic drainage isn’t recommended. If you have heart issues, risk of blood clots or kidney failure then this isn’t advised for you.

Our ever popular AE Stick promotes intracellular combustion of deposit fats internally. Fat deposits tend to accumulate on parts of the body moreso on the thighs, buttocks, stomach, hips and upper arms. Increased oxygen uptake in the tissue will break the fat deposits down.

Natural Eye Lifting 👏👏👏

These results need a massive round of applause from a course of just 3 treatments with the Iono Jet device - placed one month apart for this particular client.

This week marks one whole year from opening the doors of Skin Science. And what a year it has been 🥳

I never envisaged the success it is and has become.

I thank every single one of you who has chose me. Who has put their trust in me no matter how big or how small. The purchasing of products and the continual booking of appointments. I am just so very grateful.

My continual passion for skin and body health I hope still shines through. There is nothing I love more than to help get the right results with a more holistic approach. It works. Sometimes it can take a little patience and more dedication is involved….but the results are visible.

Onto another year of busy days and always forever learning more to offer the best I possibly can to you all.
