AUTUMN PIES

Join us on Wednesdays during September into October for our Autumn Pie events celebrating the colourful season as the leaves 🍂 around the Mowhay turn golden.

The Mowhay trestle table, originally from the farmhouse, displays flowers from the walled garden.

This week we have towering Japanese anemone.

GREEN OAK

The oak cladding is now weathering in developing tones of darker brown and silver creating a warm welcome as we turn the corner into Trevenna.

FLAT BREAD FRIDAY

Flat bread Fridays celebrate our daily harvest from the salad tunnel, served with wood fired flatbreads.

Today we have purple sage, parsley, radish, garlic chives, and pea shoots.

A GOOD FORAGE & WINE ! We hosted a sustainable wine tasting & foraging event on the Mowhay this week. Wine producers with sustainable vineyards from New Zealand, Chile, Spain, Portugal & Australia provided the tasting notes for 25 wines. The wines were tasted during a farm forage walk, pesto masterclass and a feast back at the Mowhay. Think Pennywort Crostini! Chefs, wine merchants, sommeliers from Cornish, Devon & Dorest based hospitality businesses attended. #winetasting #sustainablewines #foraging
