ARBOUR

The Arbour of oak and slate stands beneath the magnificent & ancient Sycamore tree below the barn yard.

Licensed for legal wedding ceremonies and celebrants, the Arbour provides a destination within the gardens to gather your guests for the best part of the day.

Alternatively, the Circle Garden within the Walled Garden & Mowhay Meadow are also outdoor ceremony locations.

TAKES A TEAM to make it happen!

Wedding stays & wedding days require a team to make them happen from baking Cornish scones for Welcome Treats, chopping logs for the wood fired BBQ Welcome Dinner, serving breakfast pancakes, hosting guests for an outdoor Ceremony, mixing/shaking/serving cocktails with canapés, creating the Wedding Feast to hosting the celebrations into the night!

A sunny blessed few days to launch our new Herb Knot Gin at our Summer Open Weekend with food events at the Mowhay.

Lovely to see our couples, friends and families popping in for flatbreads, the brunch, our Trevenna Lamb Feast evening and Summer Sunday Lunch.

FLOWER CIRCLE in the walled garden of the farm house during early summer with fox gloves reaching to the sky.

The wild iconic fox gloves with spires of purple bells grow happily amongst the array romantic new digitalis colours.

Around for a few weeks, foxgloves bring a drama to the flower circle.

The circle garden is also fully licensed for legal wedding ceremonies!

ARBOUR CEREMONY

Wonderful kind day for an outdoor ceremony on the Arbour Lawn.

Guests enjoy views of the barns to the left, and views of Garden Meadows and beyond to Berry Tor on the right, with the Arbour & vows ahead.

Legal outdoor ceremonies may be conducted at the Arbour, within the floral circle in the Walled Garden, or anywhere within the grounds.

(If the weather turns, we can easily nip back inside the Mowhay or Garden venue to carry on!)

LOFT to FARMHOUSE

Underneath the tall beech trees to the Loft and the Farmhouse catching the spring sun.

These stones built buildings have stood here at Trevenna for 100s of years with many seasons passing around them, now restored for future seasons.

The Loft now sleeps 8 in 4 en-suite bedrooms, and the Farmhouse sleeps 11 in 6 en-suite bedrooms.

2024 Arbour ceremonies have started!

With spring flowers opening around the gardens, ceremony chairs set up on the Arbour Lawn brings your vows outdoors!

The Arbour has views across garden meadow on one side and the barns on the other, creating a beautiful sense of place for the your ceremony.

WAGON HOUSE GARDEN

The tulips are up & out! A mixture of deep purples and almost blacks reaching up for the blue skies above.

Planted in the Autumn, it’s amazing to think these flowers have been waiting until now to welcome our guests to the Wagon House.

The Wagon House is a barn just for two! Open plan style with a central look through wood fire, king size timber bed, double size shower and deep tub. Wrapped around by a private garden. This barn has come along way since we kept the horse wagon in it.

FARMHOUSE in spring

The Farmhouse, Shippon Barn & restored privy as viewed from the Arbour.

Our Daffodils in spring provide clusters of happiness throughout the gardens. Over the years we have planted different varieties displaying golden yellow trumpets to delicate white petals.

PINK SUNSET

Last evening we had the most delicate of pink clouds above the Mowhay as our wood fired Welcome Dinner was happening below.

Welcome Dinners gather together your 45 family & friends staying at Trevenna (and those staying nearby are very welcome) for the first time in preparation for the big day tomorrow.

NARCISSUS SEASON!

Over the last few days our Cornish white with a hint of cream Daffodils have been opening up all over the gardens, under shrubs, on tops of hedges and alongside the paths.

Trumpets of joy calling out the change in the seasons!

Seasonal flowers at your wedding naturally bring the outside in to your celebrations, as beautifully created here by Becca with a hint of Narcissus in these floral arrangements at Trevenna.

From the Farm House to the Shippon, Loft, Stable, Wagon, Granary and Threshing Barn the gardens at Trevenna wrap around them all.

Sleeping 45 across 7 original stone farm buildings, the barn yard and gardens create a village feel for your private celebrations over a few days.

Guests are treated to home baked Welcome Treats, sociable Welcome Dinners and Breakfasts in the Mowhay, either side of your Wedding Feast and celebrations in the Garden Venue creating the “good life” feel for your wedding stay.

CONFETTI MOMENT!

We love a confetti moment inside the Garden Venue & Mowhay or outside by the Arbour!

Confetti is for everyone not just our couples! Taking part in a confetti throw brings joy to everyone and creates those in the moment photos.

Biodegradable petals feel like the best - colourful, beautiful and natural. Our local confetti supplier has a flower farm in Cornwall and supplies various colour petals for different floral styles.

2024 & Beyond!

We take a moment to take a look at what Trevenna has become for 2024 & beyond.

Since 2007, we have loved welcoming guests to Trevenna, entertaining with homemade food & serving delicious drinks from the bars.

Our cluster of barns, farmhouse, Garden Venue & new Mowhay all hustled around the yard, create a beautiful exclusive use destination in Cornwall for your wedding celebrations with family & friends.

Located at the heart of the farm with garden & countryside views from every window, the 6 barns and farmhouse provide cosy accommodation for 45 people to stay, relax and enjoy welcome dinners & breakfasts in the new Mowhay either side of your wedding.

Wedding Feasts prepared in the Farm Kitchen are served in the Garden Venue before evening celebrations of outdoor fires, pop up cocktail bars on the lawn and wood fired evening munchies!

During January we are busy preparing the herb knot, garden plots and salad tunnel for a productive year ahead.

We are all looking forward to your wedding plans coming to life here in 2024 & beyond!
