Our Story

We’re a small acreage, family-owned Christmas Tree Farm, have all sizes of Norway Spruce, Blue Spruce, Serbian Spruce and Nordmann fir and plant 4,000 new trees each year. If you're new to Wylds, click here for directions https://bit.ly/2BgFC7B

Our aim is to create a festive, Family Experience which both adults and small people alike will enjoy, remember fondly and wish to repeat for years to come. A rustic, Christmas family tradition. Each year, we try to enhance and improve on the last and 2019 is proving no different with our efforts focused, as ever, on growing fantastic fir and spruce trees for you. These, once felled, will with a daily drink and some tlc, continue to smell & look fabulous in your home for the entire festive season. We grow our trees in a sustainable manner - having won awards for our efforts - and are also members of the British Christmas Tree Growers Association. We’re passionate about our trees and also about ensuring you have a fun visit to Wylds.

This year, we've a new tractor-trailer route, Go-Karts circuit and an impressive & cosy lodge with log burner stove to get toasty after your trip to the trees. Built with a felled Douglas fir which grew here on the farm no less. We've street food from local suppliers this year plus, in our Après Tree Bar, we've reduced q-times and are now serving barista standard coffee, hot chocolates ( à la marshmallows ), local ale + hot, spiced apple & mulled wine ( with or without % ! ) As a visitor to Wylds, you’ll get to pick your own tree - see our website http://wylds-farm-christmas-trees.co.uk/ for tree variety details in full - and watch as it is felled in front of your very eyes. Wielding either a handsaw or chainsaw, our Wylds elves will cut down your tree and help you carry it back to the yard either by tractor + trailer ride or, if you're feeling sturdy, you can carry it back on foot.

Quite a few of the young adults felling your trees at Wylds, many moons ago, began visiting the farm as wide-eyed four year olds themselves and watched as their parents cut down the family Christmas tree. We’ve more than simply trees at Wylds. For the little ones, we’ve a magical woodland walk to post letters to Father Christmas and an area with desks to write these in the barn. Growl with KENAI our big timber bear; he's HUGE! Take an imaginary rail journey on South West Wylds train services in our BRIO train shed - where 'all' departures & arrivals are punctual - or enjoy some face painting in the barn. The Bowie Z was a popular design in 2018.
