After speaking to councillors and various other organisations who you would think would want to help a non profit organisation that helps keeps kids of the street, teach discipline, respect for themselves as well as others, fitness and healthy life style, learning a new skill, a place to let out pent up aggression in a controlled environment we have had no joy or help in finding a suitable and affordable new venue. I even spent over an hour on the phone to Connor from Sussex World I also sent him photos as he said he would put an article in the local paper but that never happened and for some reason suddenly stopped returning my calls. As I am unable to register Bar Boxing Club with England Boxing, the only way that I and the other coaches can re new their yearly membership and license is to join another boxing club. So as of July 18th we will be hopefully only temporarily joining Mile Oak Boxing Academy. Training nights will be Tuesday and Thursday 18.30 to 20.30 with a minimum age of 10 years. I will of course continue looking for a venue in the Littlehampton area and if something comes available we will re open Bar Boxing Club. As many people are aware we have unfortunately through no fault of our own and thanks to our former venue not being honest with us, lying and with holding important information from us have had to close Bar Boxing Club, hopefully only temporarily. As a club we are desperately seeking an alternative venue where we can re locate our club. On average across all sessions we would see over 100 faces a week. With a high percentage aged between 4 and 17 years many of which are hard to reach Children who have all been excelling in and especially out of the gym since they started amateur boxing. All learning new confidence rebuilding respect for themselves and the importance of respect for others. We are a non profit organisation affiliated with the National Governing Body England Boxing all our coaches are volunteers fully qualified to teach amatuer boxing hold a current DBS, first aid trained and are safeguarding and welfare trained. As a club we would like to ask that if anyone knows of anywhere or knows anyone that could help us or point us in the right direction to a venue where we could relocate and have a permanent amatuer boxing club. Bar Boxing Club isn't about myself or my other coaches it's about helping kids find a new purpose keeping them off the streets away from anti social behaviour, drugs gangs and crime. Managed to get all the clubs equipment and the clubs money back this morning. If you paid for April please can you message me direct so I can arrange to return your subs back to you. Still no news on a new venue I can only apologise but as a club we were well and truly mugged of by the previous venue. I can assure people that we are paddling like crazy in the back ground trying to find a new suitable venue in the Littlehampton area. Message to all parents and members.

As many of you know a couple of weeks back I went on holiday I left the UK with an extremely healthy boxing club with 5 coaches and well over 120 members across all age groups. Unknown to me on my return it transpires that our host has had financial difficulties and court ordered enforcement officers changed the locks to the doors and placed a forfeiture of closure notice on the door obviously leaving us without a premises to train. I have to stress this has absolutely nothing to do with Bar Boxing Club we have just been caught up in the middle of this situation. I am fully aware that people have paid subs for April which I plan on refunding as soon as I can. All our equipment and money is still locked up and located inside the venue. I have personally been in touch with Realty Law and they have assured me I can gain access on May 10th to retrieve all our equipment and money. So at the moment Bar Boxing can not carry on until we find another suitable venue In the Littlehampton area. I will be actively looking for a replacement venue as soon as possible. If anyone has any ideas or contacts please get in touch. I will contacting people to return their April Sub money after May 10th once I have been given access to the building. I am absolutely heart broken but I must Stress again this situation has nothing to do with and not caused by Bar Boxing Club or myself In any way. All monthly subs will roll over to next month, so please if you pay monthly can you freeze next months payments. As soon as I have further details I will update. As Thursday nights are ridiculously busy I have to split the sessions so everyone can benefit. So starting from the start of May, Thursday nights will be as follows.
5 to 9 years 18.00 to 19.00
10 to 16 years 19.00 to 20.00
Boxers/17+ 20.00 to 21.15

Please also be aware that there will be NO Mini Bars (5 to 9 years) over the school Easter holidays this is purely as I am taking my son on holiday. All other sessions will be on as normal coached by Craig and Max.

Now that Christmas is over and we look to get back to training next week as most of you are aware we will no longer be training at the BMMA on Littlehampton high Street. We have moved gyms and will now be based at 2 Minster Court, Courtwick Lane Wick BN17 7RN. We return to training Thursday 5th January. There will be some slight changes to the timetable.

Monday 10 to 16 years 18.00 to 19.00
Monday 17+ Boxers 19.15 to 20.45

Thursday 5 to 16 years 18.00 to 19.00
Thursday 17+ Boxers 19.15 to 20.45

Sunday 5 to 9 years 16.00 to 17.00
Sunday ladies only 17.00 to 18.00
Sunday boxers 18.00 to 19.30

If you are not sure on which session to attend or how much your subs are please ask. Preferred footwear please is boxing boots or white soled trainers, we cant enforce this but this is our preferred choice. What we will Insist on is that all footwear is clean muddy or overly dirty footwear will not be allowed.
