East Preston & Kingston Village Hall

The Village Hall is raising funds for a new oven which hirers can use when they hire the hall.

The Baytree community club uses the oven to cook lunch for 60-80 people in the community weekly and provides a lunch on Christmas Day for those in the community who would otherwise be on their own and are intending to donate the proceeds of the sale towards the cost of the oven.

Refreshments will be available on the day.

Just a reminder that the Annual General Meeting for the East Preston and Kingston Village Hall is on Saturday 17th August at 10.30am. Please come along to understand what it takes to manage the village hall and what it offers to individuals and the wider community.

We are in need of more committee members to help spread the load so if you have any spare time you can offer either as a Trustee or a Friend please speak to one of the team. We are always happy to answer your questions and listen to suggestions.

We are a Polling Station today and due to the horrendous rain overnight our car park is flooded.
Currently we have the fire crew from East Preston Fire Station helping us out.

EDIT.....This is a post to say we have found a bike in our car park.

If someone has had a bike stolen in the last 2 days it can be found in the Village Hall car park.

Baytree community lunch, had their Christmas lunch on Friday, catering for 70 people. They will be holding a special Christmas day lunch for those people who would be home alone.

We are sorry to say there is no dry way of gaining access to the East Preston & Kingston Village Hall today.

Incase anyone hadn't noticed the V.Hall carpark and pathway is flooded.
You will need wellies and a boat If visiting.
