We very very rarely have flowers that are artificially coloured. Why would we when flowers naturally come in so many colours?!!. The Dutch are very clever at Colouring flowers, creating lots of effects, I couldn't resist this flame coloured Carnation!! 🔥

This was such a pretty Church, it was a pleasure to decorate for Abbie and Andy. I can't believe it was over a month ago now.
Their choice of flowers was a dreamy pastel mixture with a touch of deep pink. The baby blue delphiniums were a delight to use.

We are always up for a challenge! This was something new for us, a living casket spray. The brief was to create a tribute made of plants that could be given to family members after the service, for them to plant in their gardens.

Once I had worked out how to do it, it was a pleasure to create, a lovely patchwork of seasonal plants 🪴

Our Story

The Flower Shop is an independent florist shop that has been established for over 40 years, we pride ourselves on offering a wide selection of fresh cut flowers. Our skilled florsits are here to create beautiful bouquets and arrangements for all occasions from Birthdays and Anniversaries to Weddings and Funerals. We have a personal delivery service covering our local area and as members of Interflora we can arrange flower deliveries nationally and internationally. As well as cut flowers we also stock plants, Balloons, Chocolates, Teddies and Gifts.

We enjoy being part of our community and hold two funraising events each year, with thanks to our wonderful customers we have raised over £10,000 for a number of charities over the years. We also hold flower arranging workshops three times a year with a seasonal theme. It is a relaxing and enjoyable evening creating your own masterpiece to take home.
