👀 Did you know, when you place an order with a huge company, they take their cut before the florist even sees the order.

Often, they charge high delivery fees and sometimes even deliver using a courier van.

This makes the photo that they’ve sold you unrealistic and impossible to make.

However when you call your local florist, you get every penny you’ve spent, on your flowers, gift wrapping and delivery.
It also makes us very happy every time an order pings through or the phone rings.

Let’s talk Roses and Valentines….

🌹 “Why are the roses so expensive at Valentine’s Day, you must be making a fortune”

We hear this a lot and it’s simply not true. The long and short of it is, the roses are grown to meet the demand. The roses are more expensive for us to buy at wholesale and auctions because of all the extra factors needed for growing so many.

Because of this, Valentine’s Day is not always a profitable time for us florists and we appreciate and love everyone of you who uses a small business ❤️

We try very hard to keep our pricing reasonable and appropriate.
