We're at Garston Animal Rescue 35th Anniversary Event this afternoon. They STILL need your help, even after all this time. Sadly, people are STILL not neutering their pets. Thousands of cats, dogs and other animals are abandoned, abused and neglected every year.

Sorry! On the cadge again! As we'll be fostering so many newborn kittens, we need a lot of baby muslins for handling and cleaning.

If anyone has any old ones they no longer need, we can gladly re-use them to help nurture and socialise these fragile little ones.

We've been able to donate Nox's medications to Garston Animal Rescue. So grateful that someone else can benefit from them. We visited and took some videos, which we'll share when we feel a bit better.

Today it was my total privilege to help the family of Mr DBD. He was an educator, mentor, pioneer in his field, literally a life-saver. The turn out was HUGE, truly remarkable, with full honours for a gentleman who served his country well.

He travelled extensively, enjoy his tune.

As some of you know, my nephew, Kai, has Cerebral Palsy and is a wheelchair user. This REMARKABLE young man has overcome so many challenges and now plays wheelchair basketball at international level.
Thanks to BBC Children in Need for their wonderful support for this project in .

Perhaps even more remarkable, is the UNSTINTING love and support from Kai's sister, Amelie. She is ALWAYS there for him, and has even joined his wheelchair basketball club, not only learning how to use a wheelchair, but how to participate in a fast moving, rigorous sport. WELL DONE, AMELIE!!

Kai took part in the and he's on tonight at around 8pm.

Princess Pom-pom "Opportunity" Nox - update.

She is home, but needs extensive further tests and treatment.

She has a major heart problem along with her hyper active thyroid. Supports our theory ( and our Vet agrees), that she was bred by an unscrupulous kitten breeder who dumped her to die alone in pain, cold and frightened in the woods at the caravan park we rescued her from, when they realised she wasn't "perfect".

I have no words for these scum, well, actually I do, but they're not repeatable on here.

Please, please, please, do NOT buy a "pedigree" pet, .
