Active Mountaineering was set up in 2014 by Chris Littlehales to offer mountain challenge events in an environmentally friendly way. From the start, we have led the way and set the example on how to run mountain events in a way that minimises our impact whilst educating our clients about the environment that we work in. We have constantly refined and developed our National 3 Peaks Challenge event

so that we are the only company to consistently deliver this event in the true 'car park to car park' time of 24 hours. Our continuing success and growth have enabled us to start offering fully guided trips to Kilimanjaro with further destinations soon to be added.

For these adventurers, the journey from the airport is an adventure itself!

The main road is closed due to an accident and they are currently seeing parts of Africa that wasnt in the itinerary!😂

They’ll hopefully be with us soon after their African massage!😂

We welcomed more adventurers this morning and then a few of us headed out for lunch followed by a super chilled walk through Rau Forest Reserve. Everyone agreed the highlight was walking out into the rice paddy fields. With the sun at just the right height, it was magical!

We then went for a wander through the local market. A hige place selling pretty much everything. And after Marrakesh and the souk last week, it was nice to be left to just look without being hassled.

We have our last adventurer arriving in the morning and another day out, location to be decided, before starting our climb on Sunday.
