What an absolute stunning venue we worked at yesterday for Raphaela and Harry’s wedding down in Devon a beautiful 600 year castle and the hosting team where absolutely fantastic we appreciated all their help yesterday will miss them such lovely people on the castles wedding event team special shoutout to Tim (my absolute hero) and Jackson who carried on despite the whole area having a power cut and working behind the scenes to still make the whole day special. Totally recommend Powderhamham castle for anyone’s wedding , cannot recommend it enough 💚

What another fantastic wedding on Sunday for Bahvisha and Calvin how amazing do they both look! Such a beautiful day and filled with so much love from both families we wish them a lifetime of happiness 💚 this is our second Indian wedding now this year and we were absolutely honoured to be a part of yesterdays festivities it was a festival style wedding and everyone had a great time🤩 everything was fabulous from the bangla drummers drumming as they entered and the Bollywood dancers to when they left to go on their honeymoon to France another day we got to soak up and come away feeling so much love 🥰

Quick 6am prep before we leave to site drop for startup chilli’s for the burritos tomorrow little fun fact my knife I bought around 5 years ago it’s a Dalstrong gladiator series (I have a few in the series) but I love love it😍 it’s never let me down helps me get through prep so much faster because the blade is like it was the day I got it, but in order to keep your blade like new DONT put your knives in the DISHWASHER it compromises the steel and won’t sharpen! I know chefs with £20 chef knives who look after their steel and by maintaining it like this are quite good knives. So if you wonder why your knives go blunt this is likely the cause and the less detergent the better always dry right away too💚 have a great day hope to see some of you at the festival ✌️🌱

We are still crushing on our poached pears dessert from last weekends wedding🥰 Here you see our Deconstructed Poached Pear Crumble, pears poached in saffron and cardamom and served with a tea steeped whipped cream and a ginger and oat crumble and a drizzle of saffron and cardamom syrup . Can we just take a minute to crush on this Rose Sabudana Chaat from our South Indian wedding at the weekend, layers of spiced potato, green chutney, tamarind chutney, rose yoghurt, and Sabudana coloured with beets, all layered to give the best experience of flavours, finished off with cilantro, pomegranate and edible rose petals and a touch of sev.

Good morning everyone so who is going to we are super excited to be back this year serving all our usual festival favourites and some new stuff to be announced soon when we upload our menus. One of the dishes we made at the weekend was poke bowls for the retreats lunch options and we haven’t stopped craving one ourselves since so we made one at home and it didn’t disappoint, we love poke bowls there’s literally tonnes of options you can create for vegan poke bowls it’s like literally eating the rainbow here it’s our teriyaki tofu poke bowl 🌱

Wow that was a full 5 days! Two corporate jobs starting with a full day for the RSPCA for an event where they moved their gardens from the Chelsea Flower show to one of their locations in Nantwich we provided breakfast and lunch for their staff and volunteers and Afternoon Tea for staff and guests we met some fantastic people including botanists and had some great conversations, the charity has decided that all events they have now will be strictly vegan so all catering will be plant based which is fantastic to hear! Especially as the majority of the workers we met that day were vegan or vegetarian. Our next stop was the whole weekend in Tissington by Ashbourne for a retreat for private cheffing for the EA Cambridge group (our second booking from these guys🙏) for 30 guests, we had to bring our kitchens with us so we didn’t disturb the retreat due to kitchen area being open plan to the main lounge area, we decided to bring our airstream and not our catering tents due to the winds. However the weekend turned out to be lovely and we made friends with lots of sheep and their babies. We a super grateful for our job and already getting to travel through the beautiful countryside here in the UK. To book us for any event you may have you can e mail us on [email protected]

We kicked our season off yesterday with not one but two weddings first was Aaron and Alex’s wedding at a beautiful venue overlooking the waterfront, a beautiful intimate wedding and the second was our first outing for our van serving street style evening food for Ashlea and Johnny at just past Preston (unusually 2 very close to home for us) such a beautiful location also for a wedding in wyresdale country park we want to thank both couples for choosing us to be a part of your beautiful day and wish both Alex and Aaron and Ashlea and Johnny a lifetime of happiness together 💚

One of our favourite meals requested for this wedding next April and on our last trial is Drunken Noodles a great Thai dish made completely plant based with ease. We actually made this without garlic due to intolerance and it still tasted great by upping the basil and ginger. A little fun fact, the name comes from when the Thai workers would come in from the bar after work to a plate of these extra spicy as it was believed to cure the hangover before it hit the next morning and they would be fine for work the next day! Here we have made them with plant based “chicken” but they taste just as great without a meat replacement and just vegetables. 🌱

Good Morning another starter selection we made for Pepper and Dippen and our very last trial last night before our season starting and we made enough for us too! We absolutely love Papaya Salad such a fresh dish with a real treat for your tastebuds! Did you know it can be served not only as a starter but can also be a side dish to a Thai main such as a green curry, we eat it as a stand alone main with steamed jasmine rice turn up the heat with extra Thai chillies plenty of fresh lime juice and if you can’t get hold of vegan fish sauce we recommend using a little tamari for the perfect umami flavour that balances out the salad, we are booking up for 2025 and have a couple of dates left towards this end of the year for enquiries on how we can cater for your event whether it’s a wedding, corporate or private party/cheffing event please e mail is on [email protected] Have a fantastic day today spring is here which means we are finally coming out of winter 🌱

Another dish from yesterday’s trial was a lighter option Creamy white Beans with Tuscan kale and Crispy Mushroom medley, consisting of pink and white oyster, shiitake, yellow trumpet and enoki fanned out into a bloom tossed and crisped up in our gluten free breading.

Another mains dish from last nights trial, we used juicy marbles “steak” and seasoned it well rested it and pan fried it in vegan butter, sat it on a smoked aubergine puree with wilted spinach and Tuscan kale topped with cumin carrots and harissa baby hassleback potatoes. There’s so many creative things you can do with other than the usual peppercorn sauce (although we don’t knock that either) this dish was perfect and another winner for our couple.

Just finished our second to last trial before our season kicks off for the year and it’s been an absolute pleasure meeting Katherine and Joshua, their wedding is in July this year and had been let down only 2 weeks ago by their caterers and we happened to have a team free on their date. The food they have chosen is some of our favourites from our extensive ever growing list. Next time we see them they’ll be married! We are happy we could step in here pictured is our Asparagus risotto with truffle oil such a well balanced dish, a lot of vegans don’t usually pick risotto as it’s a dish that seems like a nothing choice but we make this as vegans ourselves and what we would enjoy if it was served to us trust us our version is incredible 💚🤩

Our passion is to give vegans a great choice of foods that they’re not able to get in veggie and mainstream restaurants. Most places offer 1 or if you are luck 2 vegan options, our aim is to give vegans the chance to go out and not have to compromise on just 1 or 2 choices, safe in the knowledge that the food they are served won’t have any cross contamination at all and feel safe knowing that everything is 100% vegan right down to our cleaning products which are all cruelty free.

Our mission is to show vegetarians and meat eaters that anything can be veganised and taste amazing, we have choices from vegan junk food and comfort food to raw vegan dishes, catering for every vegan style of eating including gluten free vegan dishes
