So while I can completely appreciate the sunflower, and as a flower farmer, it’s a key crop to have. Let’s just say they’re not my favorite flowers. (No offense to the sunflower lovers)

I can’t decide if it’s disastrous or a success, although I do feel this design is impactful.

🌱 My Journey 🌱

Hello everyone, I’m John, the founder and owner of Lakes & Rivers Flower Farm which I run with the help of my amazing team. A lot of people don’t know, but we are based in the heart of Hale Village in Liverpool, Merseyside.

From a make-up artist with a passion for colours and texture, to starting an allotment. I now run a 2+ acre flower farm with my amazing team that spans across the glasshouse and Wall Garden in the heart of Liverpool.

My passion is for growing unique, beautiful, seasonal cut flowers. Whether that be seasonal bouquets, designing floral arrangements for weddings, corporate events & all occasions or providing wholesale organic flowers to florists.

I am so proud of Lakes & Rivers Flower Farm and what we have achieved up to now and I am so excited to discover what the next chapter will bring.

My vision and dream is to provide the people of Liverpool with homegrown, organic flowers across the seasons and my mission is to make this accessible for you.

After months of working behind the scenes, I’m excited to announce we are rebranding Lakes & Rivers and launching a brand new website, designed to make it easier than ever for you to enjoy the beauty of our seasonal flowers at the farm.

🌱 Mother’s Day Inspiration 🌱

🌱I wanted to bring a soft and Luxury Feel to the design of our Mother’s Day collection, one that reflects my loose and easy English country garden style.

🌱I chose the designs starting with the colour palette of what flowers we have growing in the ground in the greenhouse.

🌱We have stocks ranunculus, delphiniums, tulips, anemones, Iceland poppies and much more all nearly here waiting to flower.

🌱I try to use as much of our own flower produce as possible for Mother’s Day as this is the starting point for our flowers.

🌱We are governed by the weather which has been challenging this year but I’m here hoping and willing for as many of our fresh, scented flowers to be ready to add to your beautiful bouquets.
