Looking back on 2024, it has been such an amazing year but it’s also come with its challenges.
Sophia being diagnosed with M.E. being amongst the biggest. Our lives have changed so much as her condition is difficult to treat due to it being so unpredictable.
With a lot of work and self-care, we are creating a life that she can not only manage but also truly enjoy. It’s going to take a lot more treatment and time but there’s nothing we can’t face together.
One of the many amazing qualities of my wife is that she appreciates absolutely everything she has. She makes the most of the good days and doesn’t let the bad days bring her down.
She works harder than anyone I’ve ever known, doing everything she can not only to get better and look after herself, but also to somehow take care of me and still be there for all our supportive family and friends.
She truly is an inspiration! A sparkly embodiment of the human spirit and will forever remain a real-life superhero in my eyes.
Thank you for a hard but wonderful year. I love you with every atom in me.
