Just had to share this photo of the lovely tribute from the Roberttown Craft and Chatter group as part of their exhibition for Woven in Kirklees, which is taking place all over the area this month. There are lots of different bollard covers to see, along with a flock of sheep and the post box topper as the crowning glory.

Thank you to everyone who attended our donation presentation evening at Roberttown Community Centre on Saturday evening. The event was a great success, and everyone seemed to enjoy chatting to each other and hearing a bit about the groups that we have supported this year.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to another successful BBB in 2024, including the organising team, sponsors, entertainers, food outlets and volunteer staff - each one is a valued part of the team.

The organising team would like to thank each and every one of you who came along to Bobtown Beer Bash yesterday.

As always we are eternally grateful to the small army of volunteers who help us out each year, so whether you’ve been with us from the start or this was your first year - thank you so much. It’s easy to say, but we literally could not do it without you.

We’d like to thank Pete Earnshaw and the bands/singers for bringing us some cracking entertainment, you’re all stars in our eyes!

Also Buckles Butchers and Pure & Natural Cuisines for the hot food, and Nicky the icecream man for the cold food!

Thank you to our 3 official photographers, Joseph Photography, Lee at MacDonald Jones Photography, and Mark Overend - we have some fantastic photos and they’re all on our page now.

Last but definitely not least, we'd like to thank our Event sponsor -Edmondson's I.T.
