It’s the time of year when we start filling up our diary for pre Christmas events, office parties etc! So if you have any birthdays, baby showers, get togethers, weddings, christenings, girls night ins, afternoon teas, wakes, leaving dos, house warmings, hen dos (and the list goes on! 🎉) then don’t hesitate to look through the various posts / pics / reviews on our page and let us know what your requirements are. I’m sure we’ll be able to assist! Also…. Check out our prices - I reckon we must be the must competitive in the market! We have consistently maintained our price point through all manner of cost increases 😳 with only one tiny increase in years!

We had a really lovely event to cater for on Saturday - A Wedding! Our clients wanted platters of Afternoon Tea homebaked items (and extras) so they could arrange on the tiered plates they had collected for their special day! As usual, I’d wrapped up most of the food before I remembered photos!!! 🫣

A ‘small’ business platter. Would easily cater for 5 (prob 6) people for a light business meeting / finger food lunch, where cutlery, pasta, potato salads, coleslaw etc are not on the ‘agenda’ free local delivery. Contact the page for more details:

I always forget to take photos when doing buffets as I’m usually too busy and they’re mostly wrapped up by the time I’m finished! But this was just a small one for 15. I say small… there’s 14 platters there for 15 people (two of them are kids party platters which I went a bit overboard with so rather than the 1 grazing it should’ve been I ended up splitting the savoury and sweet!) I do think I need to portion control better!

When supporting small businesses, please remember that it isn’t just putting items on a platter….
*There’s a good couple of hours shopping for various ingredients which are invariably not all under the same roof! 🙄
*a solid day of baking/cooking the day before
*usually a good 3 hours putting it all together and baking on the day
*the cost of platters, serving dishes (which have doubled in price! we absorb these costs!)
*delivery - which we don’t charge for either if it’s local.

If I add it all up, it sometimes makes me wonder if it’s worth it….. BUT the lovely messages we receive afterwards say otherwise!

It’s very nearly that time of year again
💕Mothers Day💕 when we celebrate the Mums, grand mums, great grandmums, step mums, and those like a mum to us. Nothing says I love you more than a homemade afternoon tea delivered to their door….

🥪 4x dainty finger sandwiches
🥔 a portion of kettle crisps
🍰 a slice of homemade classic fresh cream Victoria Sponge
🍮 homemade scone with butter/jam/cream
🧁A smaller cake such as a macaron or similar

Delivered in a beautiful brightly coloured box 🎁 All for just £12.50 per person. Deliveries being made on the Saturday.
