Saturday night we attended a special 40th birthday celebration for Rob and Carol Davies in croeslan. Rob was celebrating his 40th and asked us at Swine and Dine to cook and carve a home grown hog he had reared. Weather stayed on side for the celebrations also which is a huge bonus. Thank you everyone for the kind words and feedback. Carol did a fantastic job with all the sides preparation and serving. Everything was down to a T. I know now if I ever need help who to call upon 🤣😊👍 thank you once again.

Today Swine & Dine hogroast & catering had the pleasure to cater for a very special occasion and for a long standing company in our home village of llandysul. Thank you arcade for booking us for you special event and open day. What a fantastic location and showroom this new venue now holds. Please pop in and have a look as it's super impressive and a lot of work has obviously gone into it. Thank you once again arcade llandysul. 😁☺️

Well what can I say but a huge thank you to everyone that came to support the aberhoffnant festival last night. Truly amazing venue put on by the family from The Black Horse, Pentrecwrt. The weeks of preparation put in by every single individual is mind blowing. From all of us at Swine & Dine a huge thank you to the Goddard family, Shaun Richards, James Turner and James Stewart and many many more for allowing us to be a part of a fantastic fundraising cause.
A thank you must be said also to the fantastic group I had helping me from Menna, Iain and Emily. Thank you 😁👍

One interesting one carried out this weekend in kidwelly a house leaving party 🤣 it's a first for us. But the fantastic family that booked us wanted to say farewell and thank you to everyone in style. We were spoilt with a marquee and tables all set up for us ready. Thank you Ceris and Gareth for inviting us to your amazing home. Nice part of the world to be down at and thank you for all the kind feedback. ☺️

#2 We had the privilege to help and support a brilliant local fundraising event at the pavilion in Llandysul park. Thank you to everyone that showed your support for a great cause. It's always a privilege to help out at this event. Thank you to Clwb Criced Llandysul Cricket Club, The Tegfan Farm for the pig and all the staff involved. Also to president Huw (cilgwyn) for getting me involved. Many years ago when Swine & Dine started a lot of advice and support came from Huw so always nice to return a thank you.
#3 was at the ffab seven stars llechryd for a family christening. First time at this event and what a lovely place. The sun came out for everyone to enjoy. Thank you Hannah for choosing us for a special day. So many friendly faces and fantastic feedback.

Hogroast carried out last night at the llandysul paddlers for a lovely group of people. Thank you Gareth and Alix for booking us once again. Lovely to turn up and everything was up all set ready to go. Also thank you to menna for coming to help with the evening service. 😊👍

Well CARNIFAL LLANDYSUL & PONTWELI CARNIVAL came back yesterday with a bang. The sun came to save the day in the nick of time and it became a excellent day and a brilliant turnout.
We had a fantastic response, selling out of our hogroast during the day. 😍😊
Also we rolled out the project we've been working hard on over the last few months and did our first mobile bar at the evening event at the tysul hall. Fantastic response and feedback. 😊 Thank you to dilys for helping serve during the day by my side. Also to Nita and my sister megan for tackling the new bar for the evening.

By this weekend it has been 7 years since Swine & Dine was started and a idea became reality. Looking back now to the first kit, equipment we bought compared to what we have now is unbelievable.
We had our bumps in the road along the way with the COVID pandemic being the biggest. We honestly thought at one point (same as thousands more) in the industry there was no coming back for mobile catering after this and no one would gather together to celebrate in the way that they had done.
But it returned with a bang for us at Swine & Dine. Every year since it has become busier. This year so far we've completed more events than the whole of last year 😮
I can't explain how happy I am at what this little family run business has grown into so far. It would not have been possible without core members of the team from the past and present for the hours put in. The biggest thanks has to go to you all as customers and supporters of Swine & Dine. Without you all it's not possible so thank you ❤️
I think it's only fitting for the Saturday for us to be wearing the original shirts once again for the carnival. So for the day the burgundy colours will return. 😁

To finish the weekend on a massive high. Here comes wedding celebrations 2 & 3 from the fantastic The Shed at Mwnt. It has been a privilege to have been a part of the catering team over Saturday and Sunday for Scott and Kelly's wedding. To say I was slightly stressed due to most guests being from my home village was a understatement 🤣. But all ran smoothly and extremely greatfull to my team that made this weekend possible. Thank you to the fantastic couple for choosing us and to the shed at mwnt owners and staff for the warm welcome we received. 😊👍🐽

A lovely Sunday catering for a family get together at the pelican in Newcastle Emlyn. Pork rolls and sides served to wonderful guests. 😄 Thank you Anwen Evans and Cefin Evans for yet another ffab night at the pelican.

Well that's us over and out for this weekend. Im personally so tired 🤣. Thank you to every booking this weekend from a surprise party in llanybydder rugby club to a Christening at the black horse pentrecwrt. It's been a challenging one, with only a few hours sleep between both and a early start. But I would like to say a huge thank you to our customers as it's been a privilege. Also a huge thanks to dilys and menna for keeping me company during services. ☺️👍🐽
