This year’s parade will leave Festival fields at approximately 6.15pm and follow the route below. Please note this year the procession will travel down Old Castle Road and not Queen Victoria Road. Travel disruption expected so plan ahead.
Funfair opens from 4pm with aerial firework display at 7.45pm (all times approx).

🍾The sign of an evening well spent at Llanelly House!

🌙 Tonight represented the last general public heritage tour of 2024 - as guests were guided through the House to explore its fascinating and scandalous history. Aided by a few bottles of fizz!

🔎Guided Heritage Tours will return in January and another special Twilight Tour will be scheduled for early February 2025 so keep your eyes peeled for dates.

🌟Thank you to everyone who has visited the House for tours this year. We look forward to welcoming more of you to experience the rich history of this place in the months ahead!

We were privileged recently to be joined by a Senior Valuer of - Patrick was able to shed light on some interesting features of our 18th Century Cantonese Armorial Dinner Service, and was delighted to see our collection of art, including pieces by Sir Joshua Reynolds and Sir Kyffin Williams.

The glass cases which exhibit the Dinner Service were opened briefly for an inspection of the porcelain and we’re delighted to report that Patrick’s assessment aligned with that of other experts in the field - the Stepney service is one of the finest and best preserved collections of its type in the world!

👨🏼‍🎓Today we welcomed our first class of local pupils to the Victorian Schoolroom at Llanelly House!

⏳The children (from ) made a terrific effort to enter into the spirit of the 1850s and enjoyed their experience of a 19th century curriculum, complete with writing slates and the strict etiquette of a Victorian education. All conducted under the watchful eye of Schoolmaster, the Rev Ebenezer Morris!

🌟Thank you to everyone who has made this project possible; particularly local educators, volunteers and donators who have contributed enormous amounts of time, energy and enthusiasm to bring the schoolroom to life. Special thanks to the team at Pentip School for the donation of our chalkboard!!
