❗ Helium Announcement ❗

Due to the ever increasing cost of Helium, I have now made the tough decision to stop doing Helium balloons with immediate effect. I will however still be providing balloons, but will be offering them in means of Balloon Stacks, Moongates, Garlands and more...

My business page Something Special at Rox-Ley's has images of some previous work, but we are open to creating anything!!

If a need to reintroduce Helium in the future becomes more cost effective then I will re-evaluate this at that point.

❗ REVISED CLOSURE ❗

After careful consideration, Something Special at Rox-Ley's will now be closing on Tuesday, May 28th. This will allow me extra time to clear stock and pack up.

As a result of this, I will not be taking any further bookings next week - everyone that has placed orders for next week will be ready for collection on our agreed times/dates.

❌ JUNE: As you'll all appreciate, with my relocation to home and a lot to sort out, I won't be taking anymore bookings during this time - everyone that has orders, these are safe and will be completed. Winding down in June will allow me to put everything into place ready for balloon/party lift off again. Plus, I need some much needed time with my Family after a tough few months.

➡️ DON'T FORGET: We have a sale on stock in store - we even have some Christmas bits thrown into the sale mix too!!

Unfortunately, due to the packing up of the shop, I am unable to hold any items you may see on our page for sale (see previous posts), this is due to limited space and I may pack up your items in my haste 🤦🏻‍♀️

Pop in and see us, to see if you can pick up some bargains!!

❗ PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT ❗

Firstly, before I proceed with this statement I want everyone to know that ALL future bookings in my diary are completely safe - so don't panic!!

It is with an extremely heavy and sad heart that I have to make the following announcement:

As of May 31st, 2024 Something Special at Rox-Ley's will be closing the doors. This is not a decision that has been taken lightly and I have exhausted all avenues of trying to keep the Business open and providing a service to a community I love and thrive on helping.

Unfortunately, very soon I will be losing a huge part of my working area due to a major damp problem in the cellar, that is creating a vile smell and causing my stock to become damaged. This in turn, will give me no option other than to lose my top room to accommodate a balloon working area. If I did this, I'd have to reduce a huge amount of my stock in order to fit this into 1 room. Going forward it wouldn't be financially sustainable nor viable and feel I could not provide the service or needs to the local community and my customers I set out to achieve.

I have met some amazing people in my time at the shop and have made some truly great and lifelong friends.

This will NOT be the end of Rox-Ley's as I am (or should I say Kevin Jones ) is making provision for me to start working from home. I will be continuing with helium balloons for as long as I can, even after the shop closes and ALL Balloon Occasions/Decor, Glitter Art Parties and Events will carry on as normal - so please don't be afraid to ask us.

For now... Even though a sad cloud hangs over me, I'm going to continue until May 31st providing you in the shop with my usual service. Sales of stock and furniture will commence shortly, so keep your eyes peeled for these!!

Thank you to EVERYONE no matter how big or small you've contributed to my Business since I opened - it has been immensely appreciated, I truly have loved every minute of it and this is not how I wanted it to end at 12 Long Bridge Street - but onwards and upwards as they say!!

❤️ We had the honour of setting up a 21st Birthday party in Llanidloes RFC this weekend. It was a team effort from everyone here at Something Special at Rox-Ley's. Each balloon centrepiece had lights wrapped around them and we colour coordinated it all with the chosen colour scheme - I think the colours speak for themselves at how beautiful they all went together!! ❤️
