Hi all,
The hall has been succesful in obtaining a grant to install solar panels at the hall. Work will start next week from 8am February 10.
🚗 Could people using the car park please leave the spaces down the left side of the building clear (kitchen side), in order to allow space for delivery and scaffolding.

Parking spaces are reserved for people attending.

- Message from the Village Hall Committee
This is a post to seek community views again on options for managing car parking at the village hall. Following our open meeting some weeks ago we have followed a process of asking residents who use the car park to move their vehicles when the car park is required for an event. The majority of people comply with this request, but unfortunately a small minority do not, which means we don’t have enough parking available when needed.
❓️So what should we do?
We must do something, as the current arrangement is not working, is very time-consuming to implement and means we can’t make full use of the hall. One option is to permanently fence off a large part of the car park, open it just for events, and leave a few open spaces along the front of the hall, although with a restriction on overnight parking. We would welcome views of the community on this option and any thoughts on other options. Our next meeting is on 27th November so we would welcome any responses, either to me, or to any other member of the committee before then.

Dyma neges i gael barn y gymuned ar opsiynau ar gyfer rheoli parcio ceir yn neuadd y pentref. Yn dilyn ein cyfarfod agored rhai wythnosau yn ôl, rydym wedi dilyn proses o ofyn i drigolion sy'n defnyddio'r maes parcio i symud eu cerbydau pan fydd angen y maes parcio ar gyfer digwyddiad. Mae'r rhan fwyaf o bobl yn cydymffurfio â'r cais hwn, ond yn anffodus nid yw lleiafrif o bobl yn gwneud hynny, sy'n golygu nad oes gennym ddigon o le parcio ar gael pan fo angen.
❓️Felly beth ddylen ni ei wneud?
Rhaid i ni wneud rhywbeth, gan nad yw'r trefniant presennol yn gweithio, mae'n cymryd llawer o amser i'w weithredu ac mae'n golygu na allwn wneud defnydd llawn o'r neuadd. Un opsiwn yw ffensio rhan fawr o'r maes parcio yn barhaol, a’i agor ar gyfer digwyddiadau yn unig, a gadael ychydig o fannau agored ar hyd blaen y neuadd, er gyda chyfyngiad ar barcio dros nos. Byddem yn croesawu barn y gymuned ar yr opsiwn hwn ac unrhyw syniadau am opsiynau eraill. Cynhelir ein cyfarfod nesaf ar 27 Tachwedd felly byddem yn croesawu unrhyw ymatebion, naill ai i mi, neu i unrhyw aelod arall o'r pwyllgor cyn hynny.
