The year of the juggle… And just like that fresh flowers are over for 2024I could have done a lot more this year but I also needed to spend time with my kids… at times I look back and wonder if I did enough, but then I also question if I did too much.What I did do i so I’m incredibly proud of, and also proud of my kids for the way they just get stuck in but also allow me the space to work when needed. I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without all of you so thank you - being able to do all of this whilst also raising our four kids is a dream come true! A huge thanks also to my long suffering husband @chrisdyerarisaig89 my parents @sarahlwi @peterwinningtoningram I couldn’t let the end of the season go by without a HUGE thank you to Brogan Bloom & Graze_ who took a punt on me and my flowers. Shes another mum absolutely busting her gut to run her own business and couldn’t be a more encouraging force within this crazy wee world of ours! The fresh flowers are over… but autumn and (nearly Christmas) are upon us and next year there is no “maternity leave” … she’s coming back full force and more!!!

We’ve rested, we’ve wintered and slowly (very slowly**) just like the earth we are starting to wake up.
I love spring flowers, it’s the only time of the year I grow yellow flowers (except sunflowers in summer/autumn) yellow just isn’t my thing but at this time of year it brings so much hope and promise for what’s to come!!

I’m back!! (Kind of…)
Thank you all so much for your patience while I’ve taken some time away after sweet baby Sùla joined us last month.
Over the next few weeks I will be very slowly coming back onto Instagram whilst also very slowly sowing seeds to grow this years flowers.
There will be some temporary changes this season, to allow me a bit more flexibility, but hopefully we will still have a summer full of flowers!!

Snowy morning jobs ❄️
We had quite a bit of snow for us this morning and while I’m not too worried about the weight on the tunnel (its new, the plastic is still very strong and it was only a few inches of snow) I do have thousands of seedlings in there and the greenhouse and the snow blocks their light.. so I decided to clear them. Most of the snow ended up attached to my jacket 🙈
Both the greenhouse and poly got up to almost 30 degrees today with the doors open and will likely go down to -3 again tonight…. Huge swings, poor plants😬! So now I’m away to cover everything back up again!!
