Hello Mr Heron! 🐦

Some recent guests a Mountview spotted this heron’s nest on the other side of the harbour. Many of our guests are keen bird watchers and seeing sights like this makes all those hours with the binoculars worthwhile!

"We had a fantastic 9 days staying at Mountview. All the home comforts you would ever need plus a fabulous welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. It’s a great base for exploring the beautiful north west and then you can come home to the hot tub which had more lovely views. You might even see a deer or 6 when sitting in the hot tub like we did. What an otterly fantastic sight! 🦦

These recent guests sent us some lovely photos of Mr Otter that likes to frequent the waters here at Mountview. He’s tucking into some delicious fish on the rocks and doesn’t seem to mind the camera! Our guests are often lucky enough to spot a wide array of wildlife here in Lochinver.
