Even though the Cabin is closed for the winter I enjoy baking for my family. A batch of fruit scones out of the oven before the boys come home for lunch. Perfect with butter and strawberry jam. Yummy 😋

Today was our last day of the season. A massive thank you to all our customers today and throughout the season. We've loved serving you and appreciate your custom. A huge thank you also to "The Dunes Team". Its been a joy working with you all. Mags our fab cake baker, Ethan, Millie, Alison, Arabella, Lucy, Craig and Tara. I didn't manage to get a final team photo 😉

And just like that we've come to the end of the season! I attempted to get a selfie with Alison and Millie at the end of our shift and after much hilarity this is what we ended up with. It's a blast working with you all this summer. ❤️

We had the pleasure today of meeting and serving lunch to a group from on a learning journey in Uist. The group heard about our agritourism journey and our plans for the future. It was lovely to meet you all.

Did you know that you can order .uk spices online? Order over £20 for free delivery. I was struggling to find the medium curry powder locally for "The Dunes" coronation chicken sauce. This should keep us going for a wee while 😉
