I've some news....Flourish is now open 7 days a week. So you can now shop with us on a Sunday & Monday too.

I can't quite believe its going to be December this Sunday and only a matter of weeks before Christmas. I hope being open these two extra days makes it easier for you to visit us.
Its always put a smile on my face that you choose to buy your gifts from Flourish for your loved ones and family.

This time of year is so important for the shop as it helps us survive during the quieter months. So if you've still presents to buy before the big day then please do consider where they come from and make the decision to shop locally and small.

Did you catch us on last night?! You can catch us again tonight, Friday, on at 7.30 or on the iplayer if you missed it. The really lovely cameraman Steve and director Fiona came to visit us here in early September as we were most of the way through our flower harvest. We chatted about why, what and how we do what we do here on our little flower farm 💚 we hope you enjoy seeing behind the scenes and of course wee Donald had to feature! 🐾⭐️

We are delighted to announce that our Shepherd’s Hut is FINALLY finished and ready for bookings! Scott has hand built this from scratch and although we had a vision of what it would be, there were no drawn plans and we’ve pretty much made it up as we’ve went along. As per usual though with anything we do, we have poured heart and soul into it - hence why it took us so long! But we are so proud and happy with how it’s turned out.

We’d really appreciate any likes and shares even if you don’t want to stay. We do have a separate Instagram account if you want to go follow us there but we’ll be using this page too so hopefully you’ll all stick around for flowers and hut 💚💐🛖

A big, bold, beautiful wreath to brighten up this cloudy Saturday💐

We created this one to frame the welcome sign at a wedding and were so happy with the choice of colour palette 😍👌🏻

The best part - the couple get to enjoy it hanging in their home, long after the wedding day is over 💐

You’ll still be able to buy our flowers from Flourish Dumfries when Leah takes over 💐🙌🏻

Flourish will be under new management from the 1st June. Since we announced this news (see pinned post) at the beginning of last month there seems to have been a little confusion. We've also been asked a few questions by customers too. So we thought we'd take the time to respond so hopefully the information is a little clearer.

Flourish is here to stay…..and it's definitely NOT closing. We're also not moving either but staying where we are at 111 High Street.

Leah Halliday has made the decision to personally take over the management of Flourish. She will continue to invest her time and love into the business so it remains part of the community.

There will be a period of transition from the 1st June so that some changes can take place. But Flourish will open its doors on Saturday 15th June, more information soon.

The new venture won’t be dissimilar to the Flourish we all know and love. Leah's passion of finding and sourcing beautiful and thoughtfully made things to share with our customers won’t stop. Leah is still really keen to continue to stock products made by small businesses based locally and across the U.K, alongside ethically sourced and fairtrade items.

The refillery and a selection of zero waste products will still continue to be sold at Flourish too.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any other questions or concerns. We will happily try our best to answer them as best we can.

This is a challenging time for us so we thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

These 2 lovely ladies will be bringing their fantastic shop from Lockerbie to Carlisle from tomorrow for a 2 week Pop-Up in the Lanes. If you’ve got a wedding or event coming up this year then it will be well worth a visit. Sounds like they’ll have some great gifts for Mother’s Day too. Best of luck Ann & Marie 🤩👏🏻
