Local theatre society CADOS need your help as they get ready to celebrate the 100th birthday of Mornington Hall in Chingford next year. They are uncovering the buildings history through stories from the community and would love to hear from you.

If you know anything about Mornington Hall’s past, used or visited the building please get in touch and let them know at [email protected].

Mornington Hall is managed by CADOS and is available for local community groups as well as being home to amateur theatre. You might remember it from when it used to be a school, and before that it was a restaurant during WWII.

All sessions are 45 minutes long

What is baby massage?
I combine Baby Massage and baby yoga using gentle stretches and movements for you to do with your baby. I incorporate over clothes massage, skin to skin massage, breathing techniques, stretching and movements for your baby and you. I include songs, rhymes and actions and sensory play. Many of the movements have been around for centuries and have their roots in traditional Indian culture and can often be seen in traditional infant massage text.

What age of babies is baby massage suitable for?
Baby massage can be used from birth. Baby Yoga can be used from around 6 weeks (we strongly recommend they have had the 6-8 week check with the GP or Health Visitor) and on into the Early Years. I will adapt the session depending on who is in attendance. I find that most parents attend classes with their babies from around 6 weeks, up until the babies are crawling away. Although the techniques can be used with older babies and toddlers (up to 18 months).
