is an Astronomy and Planetary Science art project created by Jeff Shield, based in North Wales. Whilst studying for a degree in astronomy, I set up Full of Stars in 2018, merging my career in design with science education and astronomy. The pieces I produce are often inspired by the ancient landscapes of Eryri and other beautiful areas of Wales. I sell prints in a range of sizes as well as greeting cards, many of these are available in Cymraeg and English.

🕯️ “ is a very small craft candle business based in coastal north Pembrokeshire. What makes Caer Candles different? I only use my own blends of pure essential oils (no synthetic fragrances) to scent the candles, which I make with my own blend of sustainable European plant waxes. The tins that the candles come in are made in the UK using solar power and many of the labels reflect beauty and wildness of the area where I live. My aim has been to creat an ethical candle and I hope that you will come and enjoy choosing Christmas presents which have genuinely long lasting natural scents.”

.glass uses glass powders and frits to create ghostly images that evoke mystery and reflect the moods and landscapes of her North Wales childhood. Her Tir Du / Black Land collection honors the drowned village of Capel Celyn, with poetry by Rhodri Jones, who attended school there before it was flooded. Born near Llyn Celyn, Heulwen’s work, including her Cofiwch Dryweryn pieces, reflects her personal connection to the area.

During her Master’s at Wrexham University, she created glass Welsh Bibles inspired by a family prayer book. Heulwen hopes her work stirs nostalgia and a deep sense of Hiraeth, a longing for the past and connection to the land.
