TNT Theatre returns to the Golden Goose Theatre after their five star run of Animal Farm & 1984 A George Orwell Double Bill.

“I have a dream.”

Dr King’s Dream fed a nation divided. The Life and Death of Martin Luther King starts in 1955 with a sermon steeped in Love. And ends in 1968 with a gunshot, shocking the entire world.

A small cast brings to life an ordinary man’s journey to inspiring extraordinary change. Playing multiple characters, some where the racial roles are reversed, all supported by John Kenny’s evocative Jazz score.

Onya and Tease have been in this pit for a long time. Or a short time. A time.

The world up there is strange - and frankly not something they concern themselves with.

They find solace in their meaningfully meaningless nicknacks and the knowing that one day they’ll find the thing that saves them.
A childhood stocking filler is discovered. Reality threatens to crack their sanctuary and they are forced to resuscitate, purge, and kill all that haunts them, as many times as it takes to be free.

Knit Your Own Boyfriend is a new play supported by Arts Council England, straddling absurdity, comedy and tragedy.

These are work-in-progress performances from Slime and Pies ( ).

All performances will be creatively captioned.

Next week: BEAR TRAPS, a new play by Keaton Jackson.

Black holes hanging on a gallery wall. Black holes in the backseat of your car. Black holes in your living room. Black holes keep appearing and they make it hard to breathe. The past has teeth and likes the taste of holding you back.

Bear Traps is a new play that looks at longing, memory and getting trapped in the past, through our relationship to art and to our brothers.

Flawstate Presents: AVA

“Sometimes I feel like I don’t know who I’m supposed to be. And that makes it very difficult to know what to wear.”

Jack is at breaking point. From snotty kids to snobby girls, nobody gives him the respect he deserves. Now even his flatmate is taking the p**s. All Jack wants is for life to be simple. Is that too much to ask?

Summer. An aggressive heatwave hits the city and something snaps. Jack finds himself pushed over the edge and forced to stand up for himself. In a moment of clarity, he realizes he’s been suffering from ‘alpha sickness’ for too long. Now, finally, Jack understands what it means to discover his masculine identity. All he needs is to tune into his alpha frequencies and take what he wants.

And what does he want more than anything in the world? Ava.

“The streets were pounding. Hordes of lads spread across the pavement, half-empty glasses, tattoo arms and wide, shark-smile grins.”

Ava is a searing dissection of fragile masculinity set against the backdrop of a pounding, delirious and sweaty London heatwave.

PAST TENTS. When Alan’s (Seth Jones) car crashes in the middle of nowhere, he hopes his bad day (started with his wife leaving him) can’t get any worse... but it does. After trudging through muddy countryside, he comes across a campsite, run by the rather eccentric Virgil (Mark Keegan). With no other options and no signal on his phone, he has no choice but to stay. Unfortunately for Alan, there’s only one plot left, situated in-between a sheep-poo bin and the rather annoying Justin (David J. Keogh).

Justin is everything Alan despises - a positive family man with his life in control... or is he? But things are not what they seem - tension escalates and they start to reveal their true selves - with hilarious and unfortunate consequences.

‘Past Tents’ is the story of two desperate people at the end of their tent ropes, forced into each other’s company. It’s about life, death and how people need to talk more about the things they are going through. The play is also supported by Man Up? - the men’s mental health charity.

A funny, dark and moving ★★★★★ comedy. Get your tickets through the link in our bio!
