Firstly, we hope you all had a wonderful festive winter break and wish you a fabulous New Year.

We’re really looking forward to seeing you all in a few days as we return back from winter break for our first session of 2025 this Wednesday at 7pm at our beautiful and historic venue, Limehouse Town Hall starting with our usual open jam session.

The following week Jack will be showing us how to take our dragon staff to the next level with an intermediate to advanced workshop followed by Arthur giving us a beginners session on 3 ball juggling the following week.

The last session of will be our ever growing - bring your glow toys and let’s play together as we move into the new year of 2025

Don’t forget to bring a bowl / plate and cutlery - there will be food - curries have been made! (3 vegan and 1 meaty )

If anyone can pitch in and can also bring a camping stove or two to help reheat the food, that would be excellent 👌

It’s BYOB and there is a worst jumper competition too and a prize to win tickets to ELCHs next event 🧡✨🥹

If you’d like to come early and help set up and bring decorations and twinkly lights - there will be people there from 6pm onwards

🌀 Get Your Flow On at ELCHs last LED Jam of 2024! 🌀

This Wednesday, (tomorrow) join us at Limehouse Town Hall from 7 PM to 11 PM for East London Circus Hub’s dazzling LED Night! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just finding your flow, this is the perfect space to connect, spin, juggle, and light up the night.

Here’s what you need to know:

Our doors open from 7pm onwards unless you’d like to help setup, in which case, there is usually someone there from 6pm onwards

As a volunteer based community group, we need donations to stay open, we suggest a donation of £5, payable by cash or card on the night but if you can’t afford that, any contribution really helps us keeps this community space alive and thriving - we appreciate every donation - thank you!!

If you’d like to support us longer term, join others who are supporting the hub by becoming a patron via Patreon and help ELCH continue to grow.

Whether you’re into poi, staff, hoops, juggling, or something entirely unique, this is your time to glow.

Sad News.. Today’s workshop will be the last ELCH workshop of 2024, but don’t worry, we have even more booked for 2025!

We have been very lucky to have had some amazing workshops this year, thank you to each and every instructor for sharing your amazing skills.

This weeks workshop will be on Hoop Coinflip Variations & Combos

What To Expect

Coinflips are the instructor, Ava’s favourite trick to work into combos, and they have endless possibilities for variations.

This workshop is open to all levels and for those who have struggled with these types of trick.

Ava can help teach the basic coinflip, and for those who are more advanced, they’ll share some of their favourite variations and how to put them into combos as transitions from chest rolls, tosses, behind the back flips, and more!

About The Instructor

Ava has been hooping for 5 years and doesn’t plan on stopping soon! They love sharing hoop tricks I have discovered over the years.

Join us Wednesday for Isotosses Deep Dive on 13th of November at the Limehouse Town Hall

What To Expect

Did you know that poi, and by extension all props, don't subscribe to the alleged "laws" of gravity?

If you bring some poi, I'll show you how you can turn gravity off and stick it to the big physics man through learning isolated tosses!

Some spare props will be available if you wanna stick it to Big corp™️ at the same time, but ideally bring your own poi bc different poi behave differently.

Session will be taught by Maximum Cal-cium, part clown, part poi spinner, all jokes..

WE'RE BACK!

East London Circus Hub is back from Summer Break, and what an amazing Summer it has been!

We can't wait to catch up and swap stories of all the festivals and events we went to at our first Jam of Autumn 2024 (I know, sad-face, where did the Summer go!?)

No training session this week….

We won’t be running this week (June 5th), because a charity called Care 4 Calais needed a space for those it’s helping to can see each other before funding is cut 🥲

So, they are taking the space this Wednesday for a final party before they all go their separate ways.

Sorry we can’t run, but I’m sure you’ll agree, not running and helping others was the better to do.
