In this workshop, participants will master essential techniques for both leading and following.
For Followers

✅ Develop skills to remain light and responsive to your partner.
✅ Master the art of keeping your balance.
For Leaders
✅ Become a clear and confident leader.
✅ Understand the importance of pre-leading.
✅ Adapt to different types of followers.
The second class will focus on a routine that incorporates all the leading and following techniques learned in the first class.

This bootcamp is designed to refine your fundamentals in Tarraxo to help you to improve your level and dance more intelligently. This bootcamp will not teach you fundamentals and is designed for improver plus. During the 3 hours you will do exercises to help you to use your muscles correctly and gain more control in weight shifts to achieve a higher quality of movement. The bootcamp will cover:

Introducing your teacher
💫 Liliana De Lima 💫
Liliana grew up in a Brazilian family of musicians and dancers. Since she could walk she has been dancing samba.
As a young child she started studying ballet
at the Royal Theatre of Copenhagen and has since then studied styles as jazz, hip hop and other styles at different dance schools in Copenhagen.
In 2011 she discovered Kizomba and Semba and started training these styles intensely. She learned from great teachers such as Paulo & Lanna, Jamba, Mauro, Mestre Petchú.
She started assisting and teaching Kizomba and Semba and through her travels around Europe she discovered "Kizomba French Style", now known as Urban Kiz.
Eventually, she became the first teacher to teach Urban Kiz regularly in Copenhagen. After a few years the bookings started becoming more frequent and eventually she was
travelling Europe teaching ladystyling classes and Urban Kiz Workshops.
With her strong sense of pedagogy and class structure, she was encouraged by many to start her own school in Copenhagen (Copenkiz). She owns and runs Copenkiz with her business partner Emilie.
In 2018 Liliana started studying Tarraxo with Gwany and Kizzy and eventually replaced Kizzy in some bookings she was no longer
able to work on. With help from Kizzy, Liliana and Gwany announced a partnership in 2019 and have ever since travelled the whole world teaching Tarraxo.
Liliana is known to be very thorough, direct, analytical, and talented when helping students in their journey to become stronger dancers.
She speaks 6 languages and always try to improve herself, her dancing, her teaching, and her overall understanding of the needs
of her students.
Even though Liliana has performed a lot in her life as a dancer, she has always chosen the teaching part over the performance
part. Teaching is truly where her heart belongs.
We are excited to have such a renowned teacher in Tarraxo with us for the last Unity of the year!

It will be 8 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 to the DAY this Tuesday when 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝘇 𝗨𝗞 hosted its first ever Urban Kiz Workshop and social.
This week, we'll celebrate by showcasing some UK talent. I am pleased to have Shack Ajuwa teaching a special workshop alongside Viola Palmai Full. Shack has been the driving force behind Urban Kiz in Bristol as well as being the organiser of So We Kiz - Edition 5.0 Plus Sevda Candan will be teaching Beginners. One of the first Urban Kiz teachers at Kiz Lounge. She knows her stuff.💯
I am also excited to have DJ Amine UrbanKiz joining us for the first time all the way from Manchester. Another rising talent and organiser on the Urban Kiz scene who has made special arrangements to be with us.
