Months later they've built an online following and are continuing to throw events for the virtual masses. Queer House Party has worked and collaborated with Cybertease, United Stripers of The World, Drag Syndrome, Quiplash, Bricks, The Barbican, BFI, and Guildhall to name a few. Queer House Party keeps their politics and activism central to their events, creating a space that is not only accessible for the whole LGBTIQ+ community but kicks off and campaigns for a wide range of issues that we care about.

This is a reminder that Q***r House Party is a celebration of radical self-expression and unapologetic q***r energy. Created intentionally by frontline workers, anti-fascists, activists and community organisers for the q***r community to feel seen, celebrated, and free to be themselves. Our parties are for slags, studs, f**s, dolls, d***s, tboys and q***rs. A space for intersex icons, raging bisexuals, gender non-conforming hotties and asexual angels. Allies are welcome, but only if you understand you are a guest in our house, respect our community, and act accordingly.

If you’ve been wanting to come to QHP but aren’t sure who to come with-don’t let that stop you! The first hour is a dedicated social, perfect for solo partygoers and smaller groups to hang out and meet new people.

Get a tattoo, a tooth gem, a badge, a piercing... the possibilities are endless!

As we gear up for our 5th birthday celebrations, we’re diving into the party archives and sharing some of our favourite moments this week.

23rd July 2021—the day after lockdown ended, we threw a fundraiser for the huns over at We Exist alongside Cybertease (catch them in The Hideout this Saturday), and it was absolutely feral. Safe to say, from these photos, it’s pretty obvious we hadn’t been in a club dancing for well over a year…

HEADLINE DJ ANNOUNCEMENT

!! .jordan is coming back to qhp !!

I. JORDAN has cemented themselves as one of electronic music’s most exciting producers and DJs—a true disciple of high-energy, fast-paced dance music.

If you haven’t caught one of their sets before, expect high-energy, genre-blending chaos as they seamlessly weave together everything from UK Garage, Techno, Breaks, Hard House, Footwork, Jungle, House, Speed Garage, Electro, and Baltimore Club.

In 2024, they released their debut album, I AM JORDAN, which celebrates collective ecstasy and trans joy. The album captures the bliss and dynamism of their live sets, reflecting their 14 years of experience as a DJ and producer.

An absolute icon in our community, and it’s been a fu**in JOY to watch them blow up and take on the world. We were rinsing their tracks on our lockdown livestreams, and first saw them live when we both played Brainchild Festival in 2021— we’ve been fully obsessed ever since.

This is the first time we’ve been able to bring them back to Q***r House Party since 2022, and we cannot wait 🥵🥹

ONE WEEK UNTIL WE CELEBRATE FIVE YEARS OF Q***R HOUSE PARTY 🫠🥵🫦🚨💥💖🪩

We get asked a lot about how we started and what makes our parties different—and it’s wild to think that what began as a one-off lockdown livestream has grown into something that means so much to so many people.

For a bunch of frontline workers and community organisers who DJed (badly) on weekends for extra cash to now be touring the world and playing to thousands is an absolutely unhinged timeline. We still have to remind ourselves that it’s real—that the past five years actually happened‼️

The four parties we throw in London each year are the result of so much hard work, thought, care, and graft. It means the world to us that, every time, our community shows up and turns it out.

THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of this unexpected, chaotic, and beautiful journey. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all next Saturday🥹

You might’ve noticed we’ve been quieter on socials—since December, our crew has been working with , helping to run the UK’s first Trans Winter Night Shelter.

Founded in 2017, TOP is an LGBTIQ+ shelter, centre, and refuge for those in our community who feel endangered, are homeless or hidden homeless, and have been excluded from mainstream services due to systemic prejudice.

Back in 2020, when the pandemic hit, it was our work with The Outside Project that led us to start throwing live-stream events. Working closely with young q***r people experiencing homelessness, we saw how unsafe home could be—especially for those locked down with unsupportive or abusive families. We started thinking of ways to bring some connection through The Outside Project’s online centre, offering just a little relief and escapism. It had a much bigger impact than we ever imagined.

Our crew has worked at every shelter The Outside Project has ever run—this work is the foundation of how we organise our parties. In a capitalist club culture, we do things differently: prioritising accessibility, offering free and low-income tickets, and centring performers often overlooked elsewhere. Competing with parties backed by big money is tough, but we’re still here, running events in a way that’s fair for both our artists and our community.

We don’t often talk about our work outside of the party, but it feels important to share the Trans Winter Night Shelter with you all.

We opened on Christmas Eve 2024 to provide a safe space for trans people facing homelessness and domestic violence. Since then, we’ve been offering emergency shelter while caseworkers help secure long-term, safe housing.

Trans people are overrepresented in homelessness, and while many services claim to be trans-inclusive, the reality is often unsafe. Many avoid shelters entirely, opting for riskier alternatives.

Since 2017, The Outside Project has supported thousands—not because the system made it easy, but because we refused to give up, even when those in power said it wasn’t possible.

Q***r House Party is camp, sexy, inclusive, and it’s live-streamed to you every. Damn. Friday. Resident DJs Harry Gay, Wacha and Passer bring you the bops, and we have an online chat hang-out hosted by the legendary Liv Wynter! It gets better - every week we have different special guests, drag queens and performers broadcasting their fabulousness straight into your living room! Born on the first Friday of lockdown, Q***r House Party started with the aim of bringing solidarity and release to our community, and every week hundreds of us party together into the early hours. You can share your video, chat with other guests and REVEL in the sheer q***r beauty of our house party. Featured in Dazed and Confused, Vice, The Guardian, BBC, Pink News and QX Magazine. How does Q***r House Party work? Just before we go live at 21.00 we’ll send out a link on our socials that will transport you into the party. You can choose to share your video and dance along or just watch everyone else partying. You can also chat with other party guests in the main thread or send private messages ;) We’ll be joined by performers each week who are spotlighted as a full screen, meaning we can all watch together. Accessibility Q***r House Party is BSL interpreted by Max (@wheelieq***rmerbabe). In solidarity with our sober friends, we ask you to decant your drinks into cups and not take any substances on camera. Please respect one another; do not assume anyone’s gender, ask for pronouns if you are unsure. We do not accept prejudice based on religious beliefs, language ability, class or gender presentation.
