Veronique - founder 🍫

‘Born in Cameroon and raised in France, I’ve always lived between cultures. After working in marketing and living in Rio de Janeiro, I became deeply aware of how global trade affects cultural heritage, our relationship with self, and nature.

A meaningful conversation with my mother about cacao exposed me to the chocolate industry’s harsh realities. This inspired the creation of Bantu Chocolate — a brand that goes beyond fair trade to reimagine a more equitable chocolate industry.

Drawing from my roots while speaking to a global community, we grow our own cacao on our agroforestry estate in Cameroon, and we craft cacao-based products that honours tradition, celebrates culture, and champions real social change through sustainable practices and collective empowerment.’

You can try the Caesar Salad where we also stick beauutiful chocolate bars. 🤌🏼♥️
